Room was clean neat and had nice furniture. Hotel had a little noise because they are remodeling some floors.
The food at restaurant is phenomenal it doesn't matter what you order. It's the type of menu where it's straight 15$ no cents if you know what I mean. I stayed here 2 weeks for work and food was just great. The drinks and service in restaurant was perfect also. Thanks again.

I used Expedia to book this room for a short weekend getaway during spring break. $520 for 2 nights. Fridge was not cold and we lost food that we brought. The sink was broken; the water would not drain unless you used your hand to pull the stopper up; gross. The water was hot (this was something I was nervous about based on multiple otherreports), but the pressure was weak. Breakfast is NOT complimentary, although they try to make it seem as though it is; buffet style and $20/person. Tried to charge it to our room after we paid cash. The room we stayed in had 2 very small "double" beds and was very dated. The remote control was absolutely disgusting; thank goodness I brought clorox wipes. Very noisy with overhead jets and nearby construction. My daughter and her friend took a brief dip in the pool and reported the water looked yellow and had stuff floating on the top, as if it wasn't being cleaned.
Parking was good. Check-in was smooth. 5 minutes from boardwalk. I've stayed in multiple Double Trees over the years; this one by far was my least favorite. Would only stay again if I had to.

So we came here on a Hilton timeshare presentation staying here then had to watch a 45 min presentation elsewhere which turned into 2.5hrs. Check in was easy. Was shocked that there was no microwave in the room. We had went down to the restaurant on the 1st floor and service was slow, took an hour just to get chili, pizza and a hot toddy. The chili had way to many jalapenos. Just to hot to eat spice wise. The bartender asked what was in a hot toddy and then my wife had to go up to our room and get a few tea bags we had brought with us. Then to top it off all 3 elevators were down and my wife has asthma so the stairs winded her, and had to have a breathing treatment. Thank god I didnt buy into the Hilton timeshare. I feel sorry for the one that are paying for the maintenance fees and getting what we had to experience.

BEWARE!!!
Where do I begin? We checked in late Thursday night and when I dropped my wife and kids at the front door there was a patron smoking marijuana on the bench in front of hotel. After I quickly got my family away from that situation I was checked in by a not so friendly front desk supervisor Eric who informed me that there were no complimentary chocolate chip cookies. Additionally, we were informed that the hotel was under construction and our room still had the smoke detector covered. I told the front desk and it was never removed.
When we got to the room to take showers and go to bed since my young children were here for a national track meetwe found out we had ZERO hot waterin addition to hair in the shower. Dirty floors and dirty hallways.
Day two we were greeted with teenagers from a large group at the hotel screaming and running in the halls and clogging up the elevators because they were playing on them. At one point all three elevators were inoperable. Not fun when you are on the fifth floor and you have to carry suitcases from the car and you have teenagers everywhere blocking the stairwells and the hotel management let this go.
The noise, chaos and horseplay continued into evening on all three days waking up my children each night. The hotel did not enforce the 10pm noise curfew.
To summarize.when I went to talk to management today they were gone for the day. When the front desk called the manager Hope and Assistant GM PJ on their cell phones they refused to talked to me and my family and I have been unable to shower all weekend.
Additionally, they charged us the full original price of our room and the rooms in our block even after everything that occurred. I have never been treated so rudely and unprofessional by any hotel employee before.
GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE STAYING HERE. What an awful experience.
