Disappointed in the work of my.home and response when it comes to fixing issues. Poor communication. Contractors are the worst I've ever seen. Will not recommend to use them for your home.

We are absolutely thrilled with our building experience with Liberty Homes. We were fortunate enough to get one of their newer farm house styled homes! We also got several new upgrade options that complete the look and feel we wanted. We cant recommend them enough. Great builder, great family business and an amazing building and buying experience. Service: Country home building

After living in a new construction Liberty Home for the past two years, I wanted to sit down and write a detailed review about my husband and Is experience with the company, home quality, etc. I have a lot to say about our experience in the past two years so I am going to try to keep it as condensed as possible. To say the least our experience hasnt been great. While many issues we have had may be common issues that present themselves with newly constructed homes, we have had excessive problems since we moved into our home and it is obvious that this company does everything they can to make the building process as CHEAP as possible. Emphasis on CHEAP. Id like to mention before I continue that I like to give companies, contractors, etc. the benefit of the doubt and I am a very understanding person, but some of the things we have dealt with are simply ridiculous. We have definitely learned a lot in the process of purchasing our first home, especially with this company. Issues with our Liberty home from Feb 2021-May 2023: Water heater element was burnt up when we moved in. Plumber came out to replace element. More than likely electricity was turned on before the water heater was filled and sat for a while causing the element to burn up. Lack of communication between Liberty homes and their contractors is a common theme with Liberty Homes. Bar top in kitchen was not attached correctly. Very loose. Kitchen sub-contractor came out and reattached the bar top and added more screws to secure properly. Thermostat blanked out on 06/29/2021. The pan was full. HVAC company emptied pan and cleaned out the drain. Sediment and dirt present in bath water after 1 month of living in home. Well subcontractors came out and ran water for a few hours to filter out water. Have had to replace the water filters fairly frequently since we moved in. Have went through at least 15 water filters within 8 months. Sediment and dirt present in water again worst of all on 10/12/2021. Water filter had just been replaced 48 hours earlier. Well subcontractors came out for the second time and completed several actions to help prevent future sediment and dirt filled water. Yard was graded improperly since land was first cleared. Home inspector stated on addendum that Liberty was responsible for degrading the property or installing a drainage system to prevent water from ponding in front yard. Liberty sent the excavating subcontractor out 03/15/2021 to fix the grading in front yard and driveway. They performed the bare minimum and nothing they did changed the water pooling and flooding. Liberty finally sent out the excavating company again on 10/16/2021 to complete the job the correct way after several back-and-forth emails and phone calls. The issue still is not corrected properly. It is better, but we still have steady stream that flows through our front yard and driveway when it rains even a little. The grading should have been done correctly before the foundation was even built. About a year and a half since living in our we noticed our septic tank was backed up and overflowing into our yard. We contacted a plumber to assess the issue. We were told that our septic system hadnt worked since we moved into our home due to the septic pump being 115V connected to a 240V electrical circuit. Apparently, this is a common issue with Liberty home as the plumber we had come out new what was wrong right away. Liberty sent out their electrical subcontractors to correct the issue on your electrical panel. More than likely, we will have to pump our septic earlier than normal range due to it not working properly for almost two years of us living here. Hopefully this review will help anyone who is considering purchasing from Liberty Homes or building with them. My house is beautiful don't get me wrong, but it hasn't been a fun process with this company.
