I just came from my Aunt Stella's funeral and witnessed the funeral director treating several elders disrespectfully. He rudely told a sister to sit down when she wanted to see her sister one last time. At the burial, he refused to let anyone take a flower, even denying a sister who was a minister and had performed the eulogy. Then, when the daughter asked for the cross from the flowers, he snatched it away. It's shocking how he lacks common courtesy, especially considering his profession where dealing with people's loved ones is essential. It's important to remember that there are other funeral homes available. As the Bible says, "Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels" (Hebrews 13:2 NKJV).

Always professional and caring. This is the second time in six years I've worked with Ames Funeral Home for the services of my loved one. This funeral was extremely difficult since it was for my sister who helped to raise me due to our age differences. Malcom, his wife, son and staff are very respectful and patient. He explains the details and goes over your wishes more than once to ensure you are pleased with the decisions respectfully making recommendations when needed. Malcom makes you feel like family. I will absolutely work with the Ames Funeral Home for my own service.

Somebody needs to show him how to livestream funeral u cant see body if u go to Crawford funeral home they do good job showing body please somebody give Ames some tips please
