Loudon County Kitchen Bath Basement & More

When moving to Leesburg, we were in need of some partners for our home to create an in-law suite with a kitchen and basement remodel. Finding someone to take the job and actually be responsive was exceptionally difficult, but when we found John & Kim, we knew we found a great team to work with. They worked with us on the design, took our input as to what we wanted and came up with a truly stunning basement kitchen that was nicer than most homes we have lived in or owned! The owner came out April 1 and everything with the visit was great. He told me that he would send me a design and timeline etc. Well, I have yet to hear from them and in the meantime have had two other companies come out and get back to me. Not sure why the delay, but there is no excuse for the lack of communication. Update: After I reached out via email, an email response told me that my paperwork got lost on the desk. The company did apologize and said they would get me my design etc to me the next day.

My husband and I hired KBB to partially finish our basement. We needed a big family room, a gym/office space, and finishing of the stairs/halls. When John came out to give us a free estimate it was clear he was very knowledgeable and experienced in home renovations. The estimate was very reasonable (we got some insane quotes from other contractors and KBB was almost half the cost of our most expensive quote!) The guys showed up on time, did a great job, and cleaned up everyday when they left. Amanda in the office is an absolute gem and was great at responding to any concerns we had via email/phone. I would recommend KBB and in fact, we plan to hopefully have them come back to add a bathroom/bedroom to the basement so it can be fully finished. Had 3 bathrooms renovated, came out amazing. Loved everyone we worked with, they became like family members in my home. Very responsive, worked with us, listened. Beautiful bathrooms.

We had John and his team finish our basement this summer. We met with a few contractors before work began. John's estimate was comprehensive and reasonably priced. The team that performed the work was professional, polite, pleasant to work with, and always kept us aware of what work was being done and about how long it would take. The rooms they added for us came out great and we couldn't be more pleased with the craftsmanship and the value for our money. Little details made a big difference throughout the build: The crews cleaned up the space every night before they left; if there was something we wanted changed or added, they were happy to accommodate us. Along the way, there were no hidden fees or surprises. The space was turned over to us in a timely manner, with no work remaining, freshly cleaned, and John made it clear that they would not be finished with the project unless we were satisfied with the work.
