I had the pleasure of working with Heather and Zach. Heather was a blast and very great to my kids. Zach was very helpful and friendly.
Out of the very few dealerships I have dealt with, this one was, hands down, the best. They were very thorough. They didn't make me feel that I was only putting money in their pockets. Definitely felt like it was somewhere you could relax. Definitely will be going back, when times come.

This is my second time using Front Royal GMC. This time seemed as labor intensive and arduous as last time. Car sales are the same as buying cars. The buyer wants the best price for their trade and their new car and the dealership wants to make as much as they can on the trade and the car they are selling. Sometimes it is merely a matter of who will given in more. Its honestly a racket that a person should have to spend 5 hours debating prices and waiting for sales people to talk to their "boss" I am firmly aware that much of that time is not spent discussing my particular sale. It is another sales tactic used to wear people down. It is silly, in my opinion. I had a great interaction with my salesman, Troy, but I let him know early on that I wasn't going to mess around with the silly tactics salespeople use.
When they took my car to be appraised, Troy told me that they were offering $15,000 because the tires on the car were iffy. I immediately pulled up my online order of buying four brand new tires 6 months prior. Yet another silly thing that salesman/dealerships do.
I will say that I was impressed that the dealership was willing to go get my new car in Lancaster Pa. With the pricepoint of the car I wanted, I was very picky of the color and features. And I got the exact car I wanted for a reasonable price. I did, in fact, negotiate even more for my trade once I was ready to buy my new car.
All in all, it wasn't an awful experience. This was my first "brand new" new car purchase in 20 years but not much has changed. It's the same "sales" as with any other place. I would probably use Front Royal GMC in the future but with the same reservations I had this time.
