When I came back here in the early 90s, to the Fredericksburg area things were so much different. Since then the Spotsylvania county has overdeveloped the area. Vdot has done nothing to keep improvements up. There is trash everywhere. All the dividers and curves are full of weeds, deteriorating concrete. Roads are cracking and potholes. Broken signs, broken fences, broken guard rails. Do I need to go on? Its starting to look like a Third World country. Why? Does any of the state agencies care anymore? Nobody has any more pride its sickening. The amount of taxation that the Spotsylvania county makes there should be more than enough money to pay for all these kind of things to clean up and keep the area presentable.

The traffic around the I95 and route 17 interchange is even worse than before they spent millions and inconvenienced people for over a year doing who knows what to it

If I could rate you ZERO I would! VDot you should be ashamed for leaving hundreds of people on I95 NB stranded all day and night. Theres NO EXCUSE for what your doing! Get out and help them, my husband hasnt seen one police or VDot employee anywhere helping. People have run out of gas, have no water, have to food for almost 24 hrs!!! Where are you????
