We went to their warehouse to get some remnant carpet for a bedroom and Matt was extremely helpful. He was telling us how long mill direct has been around and I can see why! Unbeatable prices and great service. Kevin was also very helpful on the phone.

Our experience with Mill Direct felt like the biggest bait and switch. My wife and I went into the store and had a great experience with the sales person and selected our new flooring. We only ended up moving forward because they promised us it would be a 1-2 day install. Instead, it ended up being a nearly 3 month disaster.
The first attempt at install was some of the worst workmanship weve experienced. The kitchen island was crooked. They didnt feel like doing the molding and there were gaps and misaligned corners. Some of the tiles didnt line up and the edges were left unfinished.
After weeks of not being able to get in touch, the salesperson finally came out and agreed that it was shoddy work and they would come fix it.
More weeks go by and they finally come out again only to rip up half the flooring, say they cant fix the kitchen island and leave it as is. They did end up passing along the information of another contractor and we had to bring in (and pay for) someone else to finish the job.
While the whole experience was frustrating, the worst part was how it dragged out, on and on, when they knew the first day what they could and could not take care of in house. We would have appreciated the honesty rather than the continual denial and disruption.

If you need quality flooring at a competitive price with professionalism, you have found the place! Found MDF by chance 8 years ago while renovating an office space in Vienna. They were professional, installed when promised and prices were good. Now, I've opened a second location and was trying to go through Home Depot to take advantage of their credit. It was AWFUL! I would have missed my target opening date because of them. I went back to Mill Direct and glad to see Kevin again. I told him he had a week to install. Took me 5 minutes to choose a vinyl floor and a carpet. He kept me informed every step of the way. The installers worked on the weekend and on Labor Day! Office came out beautiful and I can't tell you how difficult the old carpet was to remove (I can, I tried to help).
I will not delay next time, heading straight to MDF and Kevin!

We recently had carpet installed by Mill Direct of Fairfax. It was a very enjoyable and easy process. It was a pleasure working with the sales team. The individual we worked with was very quick with responding to our questions. The installation crew was very professional and went above and beyond with making the carpet look nice. Will definitely recommend Mill Direct to anyone looking to get flooring installed in NOVA.
