Called to asked about their cupcakes for my birthday. Was told that they did not have what I was looking. Decided to visit the shop to see what they have after trying to call back. The business was bought out by someone else. There was nothing on the answering machine or the website.

Delicious cupcakes. However it is terribly managed. My fiance and I came from North Carolina to taste their cupcakes because we are having a wedding in VA. We work during the week and weren't able to make it until the weekend, we scheduled a wedding cupcake tasting to which the agreed. No one really spoke with us but it was the weekend before Valentine's day and the owner promised she would give us a call after the next two weeks because she was slammed and that was no problem for us. Two weeks pass and no call, I call and leave a message but no one returns my call. No email address on their business cards. My fiance calls many times and is told someone will be in touch with her but they never called back. It wasn't until today, less than two months before our wedding that they finally called saying they were booked for that day. Absolutely disgusted with the way they do business and I will never give them another dime and discourage anyone from doing business with them. Shame on you pearls bake shoppe for treating us, especially my fiance this way.

This place is awesome!! The management is so sweet and accommodating! They are my go-to place! They have great gluten-free cupcakes and they have such a great selection at all times! You can tell everything was made w love and care and I hope this place is around for ever! Love them and this place!
