image The space is much smaller than I expected but has a very nice atmosphere and decor. I visited on a Saturday afternoon as a part of a group of 4. It was completely empty except for our table but there was a fair amount of traffic through the space because they offer public bathrooms to people along the pier. There were also a couple of groups at the outdoor pier, but we felt it was too cold for that. Our server was fairly attentive and checked in on us enough without us feeling overwhelmed. We got a few drinks before ordering tapas. We got the stone fruit sangria, a prosecco and a regular sangria. We all loved the stone fruit sangria so we ended up getting a few rounds of that. We ordered 6 or 7 different tapas including both montaditos (sandwiches), gambas, patatas bravas, croquettas, pan con tomate and the empanadas. We enjoyed everything except for the pan con tomate. The toast was very soggy the first time around so we asked the server if we could get another with crunchier bread. At first, it seemed like she didn't want to ask the kitchen to re-do it but she decided to do so. The second time it came out it was more toasted but it was still soggy so we still didn't finish or fully enjoy it. My favorite dish was the patatas and the gambas. I would visit again for tapas and the stone fruit sangria on the pier when the weather is nice, however, this isn't a restaurant that would be on the top of my list considering all of the other options in the area.

image Great place to get a couple of drinks and enjoy the experience of dining in at the pier but the food portions are too light to please your appetite.

image Setting is gorgeous! We had beautiful weather and the scenery along the water was wonderful. Our server was pleasant, but not anything to write home about. The food was really pretty good. The slices of cucumber were excellent. But the entire time I was eating it, I kept thinking it was double (if not triple) the price it shouldve been. I the steak was also very good, but again a tiny little pile for $22!?! I can get a better deal in Napa Valley. The empanadas were just fine. The scallops were excellent. Three of them on the plate with a good sauce. Overall, good food, but exponentially more expensive than it shouldve been. Not worth the cost when there are tons of other options out there to try.

image Dinner at the bar. Something to try even if they are booked.
Highly recommend the mussels with chorizo. The sauce and the spice are top notch. The pork tenderloin sandwich is out of the world.
Red light cocktail was great as well as trying thing with a custom wine flight. Great staff. Forgot the pics! But get the mussels

image The food at this place is delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful, with an amazing view of the Potomac river. Unfortunately my family and I had a really bad experience. We called early around 7 pm to make a reservation, the lady by phone told me she could reserve a table for us at 9 pm, based on her, the kitchen would be closed at 10 pm and based on the website and what she said, the place would close at 11 pm. We expected to have plenty of time to enjoy the food and share with our family. One of our sisters was having her birthday. So...
We arrived, and they didn't pay any attention to us. After around 30 min of waiting they brought the menus, the water with an advertisement that they would close earlier. We asked for the food. And even though the food was not yet at the table, they brought the check!!
They weren't rude, but, all the service was in a rush, and the waitress in charge of our table asked us to leave at 10:15 pm. It was such a horrible experience.
We weren't the only table in the place though.
They just asked all the people to leave, because they had to set up the chairs and everything.
I hope we can have a better experience some day. Just feedback for the waitress: don't offer a reservation time by phone you can't attend.
