Envision Mortgage did not live up to their promises. We used them after our house we were buying ended up being $40000 short on the appraisal (story for another time) and we have to switch lenders. This was the same lender that our seller was using and was recommended to us by the seller agent.
-They said that the loan would be done in 2 weeks on October 19th. We did not close until Dec 4th.
-Jonathan said that they submitted the loan to underwriting on November 2nd, but his assistant Callie told us that they did not submit it until November 4th.
-The loan did not get out of their underwriting process until November 17th. Jonathan would not call the underwriting company until I called the underwriting department myself after 2 weeks. He then told me that I need to go through him directly.
-The underwriter that my loan was assigned to ended up having a family member pass away and the loan was not reassigned to another underwriter for 2 weeks.
-Jonathan and his staff seemed to only give the answers we wanted to hear, not the answers we needed to hear.
-He said that we would be ready to close 24 to 36 hours after it made it out of USDA Rural underwriting. I was out on 12/1/2020 and we did not close until the 12/4/2020.
Worst experience ever.
