      image We arrived at the hotel, and the stink that was in the hallway was nauseating. We walked into our room and found black mold all along the ceiling in the bathroom, and it was so bad that I shut the door and didn't even use the bathroom, I used the bathroom down the hallway. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall, and there's rust over the doorway. Then there's the bathroom sink that didn't drain properly. The guests across the hall were given room keys that didn't even work. My brother stayed in the same hotel the same night, and his room smelled like vomit. And they wouldn't allow him to change rooms until they came up to the room with him. I would expect this kind of a dump if I was going to a Motel 6, but I did not expect this in a Holiday Inn Express and Suites! We booked the reservation through Expedia, and we tried to get our money back, or at least a partial refund, but the hotel absolutely refused to give us any kind of refund. I would stay as far away from this hotel as you can. Especially if you don't want to be exposed to black mold!

      image Although the hotel was undergoing a second floor renovation at the time of our stay, The staff did a good job of keeping the dust and noise to a minimum. And, although all the staff is very nice, Rex was amazingly helpful getting us parked with our trailer and going the extra mile for us. Thanks to everyone there. When we go back next year, we know where we will be staying.
