New review: After a month's use I can say this is a great product. Setting aside those apps that require a true PC, this keyboard makes my iPadPro a real laptop. Very happy with the unit quality & ease of use. Apple needs to wake up to this one. Definite 5-star rating.
Original review: Got the Brydge 12.9 Max+ & love it. Easy to transition back & forth between the tablet mode or the 'laptop' mode. Best part is it defers the purchase of a new Mac for at least a few years!

The customer support is really not on top of their game! I have mailed 3 times for a tax invoice and a return label! After weeks I still have no answer, no tax invoice and no return label!

I purchased a new keyboard for my second generation iPad Pro and it arrived promptly. I was excited to put it to work only to find a problem with a number of keys not working. I sent an email to support and was contacted by Mason who asked for a short video of the problem. He was very co-operative and timely. In a day he determined the keyboard was defective and they are sending a new one n/c.

Ordered keyboard for ipad pro two weeks ago. Nothing has arrived yet. I have emailed 3 times over last several days and no response. Filled out form on website twice no response. Phone number says voice mail is full. Would work on your customer service. This is no way to do business. I own my business and get back with my customers same day.

The first time I saw the Bridge Pro keyboard for the iPad Pro 2018 I knew that I just had to own one! At that point I didn't even own an iPad Pro 2018, but I was researching and reviewing YouTube videos about the iPad.YouTube videos on the keyboard were a bit thin on the ground at that time so all of the questions I had in my head I had to wait to to find out.
I took the plunge to buy the iPad Pro 12.9" in Feb 2019 and didn't regret it, the plan was to get the 4G model so I could create more blog posts etc. However it never really happened, one of the main reasons was I just couldn't be bothered to enter lots of text on the onscreen keyboard!
Enter the Brydge Pro....
So I purchased the Brydge during a Black Friday event, saving me a few pounds compared to normal. I was very excited to order the keyboard and couldn't wait for it to arrive (which took around a week due to it being shipped from the Netherlands I believe).When it arrived and I opened the box I was not disappointed, a beautiful slab of material in the box with great packaging.The iPad was inserted and paired in no time at all, I was ready to roll.My experience was fantastic, the large area at the front on the keyboard acts as a great wrist rest when using the keyboard.
Although I can guarantee you that you will definitely attempt to use the middle area as a trackpad without thinking about it as you will just assume you are on a laptop! Even some months later I am still finding that I think its a trackpad. Looking at their future product it does look like there is a version of the keyboard due with a trackpad.Typing on the keyboard is just great, I have no complaints at all in respect to this. The row of media keys is very handy indeed, giving you quick access to some handy options, such as locking/unlocking the screen.The battery literally lasts forever, I am not sure what Brydge claim for the length, but I've not charged mine since December 2019 when I received it and it is still going strong! When your need to charge it you can use the USB-C on the iPad to do so or any other USB-C charging method (the connector is USB-C on the keyboard to charge).Are there any negatives to this keyboard? To be honest not really, but the one thing I will say is that as it is a solid piece of beautiful aluminium then it is not the lightest and couple with the iPad Pro 12.9" makes it a fairly significant weight in hand. However that does not mean that you need to be Super Hero to lift and operate the keyboard.In short, if you are undecided about buying this keyboard then don't be. It is nice to use and provides great viewing angles on the iPad screen. If you are doing a lot of writing then this is a must buy device! Forget the crappy iPad official case/keyboard as its crap in comparison. The Logitech keyboard is just plain ugly and adds massive bulk!This is the most attractive and productive keyboard you could use that was designed specifically for the iPad.It would be amazing if there was an upgrade path to the model with the trackpad due in the very near future!
