image I've gone into the clinic quite a few times over the last two months. I've always been impressed with the staff and have had great experiences. Dr Wayment and Sheri Johnson specifically were great to work with and took the time to answer all of my questions and really took care of me.

image I am pregnant and was having some severe round ligament pain. I found the physical therapy office here and I just need to say that they are fantastic.
Yes, they helped me immensely when it came to relieving my pain. But this review is mainly about their impeccable service and kindness.
I had to bring in my 2 year old daughter multiple times as I didn't have a babysitter. The staff was always so kind to me but especially kind to my daughter. They gave her coloring pages and played with her while I focused on my exercises. As a mother, the kindness of strangers goes a long way with me and this office has extended more kindness than I could have ever imagined. I am so grateful for all they do!

image Second time today getting an ingrown toenail removed & Jason Lucas is an awesome podiatrist for that! Definitely makes you feel comfortable & gets the job done quick. Last time I came here I would've given a 5 star rating but unfortunately this time around wasn't as good of an experience due to a very rude CNA or Nurse that was working in his area today. I thought maybe I was just in my head about how bad she was treating me but when I finally was let go I tried to smile at this nurse & say thank you on my way out and she SCOFFED me off. Pretty sad when you come into a medical facility to seek treatment in a place where you are dealing with the public, as do 90% of the world population as well as myself included, and I get treated like I am unwelcome there.

image This is a review of both Dr. Jason Lucas and Ogden Clinic itself. I know that its very long, but I am hopeful that this feedback will help the clinic improve and help other patients that are looking for medical help.
My son broke his foot and we visited the Urgent Care, where it was x-rayed. The doctor we met with was polite and knowledgeable and assured us that the foot would heal well in a boot, but told us to meet with a podiatrist for additional info.
Three days later, we met with Dr. Lucas. He came into the room and began immediately trying to schedule surgery. I was surprised because the first doctor had said it would heal without surgery and that I wanted a second opinion. Dr Lucas went out into the hallway and pulled another doctor in. This doctor, without looking at the x-rays, told me emphatically that we DEFINITELY needed surgery or our son would experience life-long pain.
Throughout the appointment, Dr Lucas was brusque, condescending, and rude. He kept referring to the broken bone as my sons toe (it was, in fact, a metatarsal and not a phalange). He told me that the team would call back and schedule the surgery for 3 or 4 days later.
While we waited for surgery to be scheduled, we called another local doctor and asked to come in for a second opinion. Once our new appointment was scheduled, we called Ogden Clinic and asked them to forward our x-rays, records and clinical notes. We were told NO.
They could not send our info to another medical facility unless we came back and signed a release. That was surprising, but we decided to move forward. As I was getting ready to drive to Ogden Clinic, we got another call from the clinic.
They had talked to our insurance and discovered that we do not have surgical benefits. Surgery would cost over $18,000 out of pocket and we would need to pay half up front.
I asked what the cost is if we paid without insurance, since it is often lower than the insurance cost. They said that they could not tell me. I asked what the surgical codes are, so that I could call my insurance and try to get coverage. They would not tell me. I asked them to transfer my sons records to another doctor and they were HAPPY to do it! I still had not come in to sign a release, but when it became clear that Ogden Clinic wouldnt get more of our money- they were happy to disregard their own made-up rules. However, they said, they could not send x-rays since they used a fax machine. Could the x-rays be emailed? No. It was not secure. I was told that I would have to come into the clinic and get a disk of the x-rays. I could come anytime that day (Saturday) before 8 pm. When we arrived that evening around 6, of course the clinic was closed. We had to return and get the x-rays on Monday morning.
When we arrived at our second-opinion doctor, they already had the x-rays from Ogden Clinic. Turns out, they are actually capable of sending medical information to other doctors and I did not need to spend two fruitless trips going to the radiology department!
The second opinion doctor agreed with the urgent care doctor, and told us that surgery was absolutely unnecessary- and he was polite, professional, and knowledgeable when we discussed it. But more than Doctor Lucas, I am angry with Ogden Clinic. They constantly created and disregarded new loopholes to deny us access to our own medical information. They repeatedly told us things over the phone that were untrue or refused to give us information that we needed to make informed decisions about our own health. I am absolutely sick of doctors and medical professionals that believe that they have complete authority and bodily autonomy over the rest of us and we must bow to their will and give them all of our money at a moment's notice and we better not question them or we will experience "life long pain."

image This place doesnt deserve any stars. The Management & Billing departments are the epitome of disrespectful, disgraceful people. Please allow me the grace to share my story & experiences with you. Last November, My husbands PSA levels were elevated . Paul is now 51. We lost his father to Prostate Cancer when he was 56. After 28 years together, I felt like I needed prepare & ready for the process. It was more than likely Paul would develop Prostate cancer. What does one do to prepare for a more than probable, Prostatectomy?? Which turned into a full blown RADICAL PROSTATECTOMY. Cancer present throughout majority of the prostate. I found an incredible surgeon at the Ogden Clinic. After speaking with a receptionist in the urology department for over an hour. The doctor, was confirmed to be in NETWORK . The receptionist confirmed our Cigna insurance was accepted & proceeded with making our initial appointment. First appointment was an evaluation & to review recent labs. Since my husband had elevated PSAs & family history, a biopsy was scheduled immediately. Everything was moving so quickly & we were beyond grateful for the timeliness. Biopsy day came. The process was beyond, beyond painful for Paul. He made it through the best he could. Recovery was quick. The middle of December the doctor calls & Pauly was officially diagnosed with Cancer. We finally received our first bill around 2 weeks after the diagnoses. About a month & half later. When I looked at the bill, I was dumbfounded. Shocked. I felt immediate despair. Turns out this doctor isnt in Pauls network. My heart sunk so deep. It wasnt the bill at first. It was the idea of STARTING OVER. Finding a new doctor to save his life. The fear set in quickly. Time is now really ticking. Through the Grace of God & immense research, we found a surgeon in American Fork, who saw him immediately. After I had everything squared away with the new doctor, I called Ogden Clinic to discuss the bill. A bill we shouldnt have in the first place. Especially when we are about to travel down the road of Cancer. Treatments, biopsies, surgery, hospital stays, travel, hotels, food, gas-the list goes on. I called & spoke with their office manager Mitch Payne. I explained the situation that I wad told by the receptionist, who spoke with the insurance directly, was accepted. He said he would look into discounting the bill & get back to me. I sent several emails, phone calls to this person trying to come to a resolve on this bill before the Cancer treatments start in the new year. Not one single call back. I received 4 bills along the 10 months of Cancer hell my husband endured. Every single time I got a bill, I called the Ogden Clinic, requested to speak with Mitch Payne to get this bill resolved. Not one call was ever returned to me from him. A $989 bill turned into a $2000+ bill. Ogden clinic sent our bill to a lawyer. The bill more than doubled. I called right away, yet again, after being so kindly served papers this past Monday, during Pauls Cancer recovery. I asked Mitch, do you even know exactly how much time & life Cancer surgeries, treatments & recovery take? He didnt respond back. He skirted everything under the rug & mentioned to me he didnt recall our conversation & the several emails/phone calls I made this past 8 months. Mitch Payne failed to help us from the beginning & boldly lied & said we never spoke. Its all on record & YOU FAILED IN YOUR HONESTY! The very same bill this man said hed help us with in December of 2022. The end result of it all, they cant & will not do anything for us. You have had plenty of time to take of your bill. Jesus Lord! Paul just went into remission less than a month ago & started working again. THANK GOD HE ISNT GOING TO DIE FROM THIS! This facility is DISGUSTING. DISGRACEFUL PEOPLE. It took them 6 months to send this bill to a lawyer. Less time then what my husband had to go thru with Cancer. Shame, shame on this place. You could be terminal & they could care less. Refuse to take ownership for their negligence. Discrimination at its finest.
