image This business claims to be a Blue Cross provider in Blue across website. However, when I called for an appointment they wanted $1600 up front to even take an appointment. It is for a "membership" and the privilege of seeing one of their doctors. I have never heard of such a thing. When I questioned it, the lovely receptionist hung up on me. Blue Cross Blue Cross Blue Shield is now investigating them as well as the BBB.  STAY AWAY!!!

image I've spent a lot of time and money with ICON having all the tests that were recommended. Each visit they prescribed more supplements (that they sell) and they aren't cheap. Go back in a month and more supplements. The PA and nurses (and nutritionist) are really nice but in the end couldn't get the help I needed.

image I normally do not take the time to write a review, but this clinic was so incredibly rude, that I had to take the time.  Icon Wellness has on online store in which supplements are sold.  I processed an order and shortly after it processed I received an email that states they only sell to their clients.  I asked when I can expect to receive my refund since they had accepted my payment for an order they won't process.  When I did not receive a response back, I called and asked when I could expect to have my funds returned.  I was then told I would get my refund when they received the funds.  I told them it was processed on behalf of my bank and the receptionist replied, "I told you you will get a refund when we get around to it and TO NEVER CALL HERE AGAIN! Such poor practice, BEWARE! DO NOT ORDER ON THEIR ONLINE SHOP!!

image I had been very sick for over a week and was looking for a primary care doctor.  My Nurse Practitioner son recommended Icon and Dr. Johnston.  I called for an appointment and was told to see Dr. Johnston I would have to join VIPMD.com for a $1600 membership fee!  Otherwise, I could see the PA or NP for my regular co-pay.  I chose the PA.  During my initial call I asked about the office location and confirmed the building (as there are parking issues in this medical complex) with the lady on the phone.  Unfortunately, she either did not listen, or did not understand my question.  I arrived early for my appointment...however, it was not the building I had confirmed with the Icon staff memeber.  So, I went to the wrong location and then arrived at my appointment 10 minutes late (8:40 instead of 8:30).  Although I had my paperwork completed and could have been seen immediately, they refused to let me see the PA.  Instead, they wanted to reschedule my appointment.  I explained I had been directed to the wrong building, was very sick and wanted to wait for an opening as a walk-in.  There was only one other patient in the waiting room during all this...and no reason to not take me at that time.   I understand keeping a schedule and not making other patients wait.  However, I also know there are occasional circumstances (staff giving wrong directions) that may warrant disregarding "policy."  So as not to pass out or throw up in their lobby, I left.I am a clinic owner of a similar discipline.  If my staff EVER turned a patient away without at least attempting to assist in some immediate way there would be measures taken to correct the issue.  Customer service and patient care should always be a priority...not the office "scheduling policy".

image I had many different events that put my life in an out of control spiral and I was being bounced from doctor to doctor with another prescription that was only a band aid and no solutions. I was so sick and depressed  that all I did was lay in bed, sleep, cry and occasionally would read short articles.I went from 115 lbs to 170 lbs in just a few months, I was miserable and at my wits end.I came across an article in Change Magazine by Dr. John Johnston about  whole body wellness and thought "yea right".But when my Reaumatologist sent me for blood work and I walked in the building and saw Icon Wellness Center w/ Dr. Johnston to the left I knew this had was a sign, I felt so bad that I was willing to try anything, I went in and met with Amber who explained the program and how when you go to most doctors and they run blood work, if your within normal range on issues such as Hormones, Thyroid & Vitamins then your OK and they send you on you way. At Icon Dr. Johnston gets you to your optimain levels and continues to work with you to reach your goals and experience the best health possible.Dr. Johnston stated I may not feel better in a week or two but he could guarantee within 3 months I would!  I have never had a doctor give me a guarantee, so I Was In!He did not lie....His staff worked with me on my hormone and vitamin levels first, then I met with their nutritionist's, at my pace not theirs. Before I could begin my fitness training I suffered from pinched nerves in my back and neck and at the same time broke my toe. I met with the Chiropractor Dr. Stinson. I have never been willing to be treated by one but Dr. Johnston had not steered me wrong yet so if he trusted her enough to have her on staff then I would give it a shot. She is awesome and so is her assistant Susan who can multi-task circles around anyone I've ever seen in the Physical Therapy room. They worked very hard to get me back on my feet.Since then I have not had any nerve block injections since, that's now going on 3 or 4 years. The weight came off within 4 to 5 months. I felt better then I ever have.Icon is my new family, they all care about me and my health and provide support I never experienced from any other doctor or staff. When I have had problems out of their expertise they have sent me to other specialist that have been just as wonderful. I could go on about all the great things Icon has done for me but I do have other responsibilities to tend to.If your sick and tired of being sick and tired or even if your not you must go to Icon and see for yourself what they can do for you! You will feel cared for the minute your greeted by Lisa at the front desk.I Can At Icon!
