The outside is beautiful however the rooms, the rooms on the floor we were onthe rooms are out dated. They smell like mold. The bathroom really need an update. Very dark lighting. Dark makes the room look small.

Front desk manager utterly rude and disrespectful towards customers, ADA and meeting the needs of guest. Rickey Mazsa, avoid at all cost. Courtyard across the way is very nice.

The room appeared clean; there was a plasma T. V. (don't let the rabbit ears on the emoji fool you) , coffee machine with tea and coffee options and a small refrigerator. The bed and pillows were soo comfortable. The bathroom needs a bit more effort put into it. We found mold on the tiles and around the safety handle bar. This issue was addressed and handled promptly. Breakfast came with the price of the room for 2 guests. I choose this hotel because of the Hilton reputation and its proximity to the tourist sites. We had a nice visit in Waco and will be returning again.
Nearby activities: The suspension bridge, Historic Elm st, Magnolia Silos, Hotel 1928, The Dr Pepper museum, Texas Ranger museum, Baylor University bear habitat , plenty of chain restaurants, Sascee's Soul Food restaurants are all within a 6 mile or so radius of ea other
Walkability: If you find a good parking spot in the downtown area, most of the tourist sites mentioned are within walking distance, for a reasonably healthy person.

We stayed here for our Baylor visit. Conveniently located with easy, free parking. Lots of food options right across the street and a fun dive bar that was open until at least midnight with pool tables and an arcade win! However, the hotel itself is in need of upgrades and was very, very loud. There was a train that went though in the middle of the night that blasted its horn the entire time. In fairness, you would have heard this no matter what hotel you chose in downtown Waco but more modern, soundproof windows might have helped. Door closures were unusually loud and we had what sounded like a heavy metal banging in our rooms about every 15 minutes all night long. Possibly an HVAC issue? Also, minor issue but sort of indicative of the whole experience no limes at the bar. Really? We will avoid staying here again even though we are generally Hilton chain loyalists.
