We are extremely unhappy the Home Depot in-store rep(s) at the Spring, TX store who ordered the wrong step for our door twice in a row thereby extending our door purchase and install process to three install attempts and THREE AND A HALF MONTHS... For a single door.
It was only the installers who noticed the issues and, in the second attempt, were able to inform the store (again) before they came to install.
Likewise, the door that was ordered had to have the window and dog door reversed at our house by the installer even though the door was custom manufactured. This again appears to be the fault of the in-store rep. The subcontracted installers were very professional, exceptionally generous with their time, and overall much more helpful than their Home Depot counterparts in the store.
We have yet to receive any kind of compensation for our time, inconvenience, and wasted vacation days.
