image Horrible bank, they treat customers like trash! The Stuebner Airline location is the worst, the employee named Clarissa was unable to help us to open account and at the end showed us the door ! We are taking all our business to a different bank.

image On June 20, 2020, two of my business partners entered the Capital One at 15900 Stuebner Airline and spoke with Luliia Salama about the processes and paperwork requirements needed to open a business savings account. The requirements they were told were: all parties involved in the business must be present (4 of us) and we should email our LLC documentation prior to our scheduled appointment in order to expedite the process. She also gave them her business card and the business card of her colleague, Clarissa Valdez-Robeldo, and informed them to send the documentation to both parties as she may not be in the office when we decide to schedule the appointment. On June 29, 2020 our partner called to schedule an appointment and spoke with Luliia Salama to schedule July 20, 2020 at 2:30PM. Luliia again reminded her of the same things she stated in person and not to forget the appropriate identification (passport, i.d., SSN card, etc.). On July 12, 2020 at 12:34PM we emailed our required documentation to Luliia Salama and Clarissa Valdez-Robeldo well ahead of our scheduled July 20, 2020 2:30PM appointment. We received no additional correspondence from Luliia or Clarissa after sending the email. On July 20, 2020 at 2:30PM we arrived at Capital One to find out that the door to the lobby was locked. We noticed that Clarissa walked to the back of the bank and upon another Capital one customer entering the banks first set of doors, only then did Clarissa come back out to speak to us. Speaking to us through the glass door, Clarissa acknowledged she was aware of our 2:30PM appointment. She stated that we should have a physical copy of our LLC documentation (even though we had emailed all the documentation) prepared to present to her. She stated that we should complete our appointment through the drive through as the lobby area was closed and to call the bank so that they would have a number on file for their office to communicate with. We called Clarissa from our vehicles and stated once again the files were emailed to her and it would be safer and require less time if she was able to procure the documents from our email message. We also reminded her that Luliia did not inform us we would need printed copies to complete the process. Clarissa then proceeded to give us the run around by hanging up on us multiple times, stating that they should review the documents prior to scheduling an appointment and that our 2:30PM reservation should have never been scheduled because we were not approved by the bank first. We then attempted to call from a different phone number and was able to reach a different associate (did not get her name) representing Clarissa who stated that due to the virus that their branch procedures had changed and they were sorry for the miscommunication and we would not be able to open a business account with their bank and with any of the surrounding Capital One branches until the lobbies were back open to the public. We will not be opening an account with this branch or with any Capital One bank Branch at this point. Their lack of communication, clear guidance of polices and procedures have put at severe strain on our abilities to conduct business. I am the only business partner that does not live in Houston, TX and I flew in to make this appointment by incurring my own personal expenses in order to make sure we were able to open the account. Do not do business with this branch. Their customer service is piss poor and is not worth the 1.25% (now 0.8%) introductory interest rate they offer on business savings accounts.
