Don’t waste your money!! Definitely not a resort. The pool was nice but that’s it, rooms were ok needs a lot of fixing, don’t be fooled by pictures, wires were exposed by pool we had to tell them twice and finally they fixed it the next day.management horrible, didn’t clean room when asked so we had to sleep in a dirty room full of sand, management just said sorry we can’t do anything, cause it was passed 3, we called at 12 and then multiple times after to get it cleaned but nope, overall not a good place. Would never spend my money here ever again. If they kept up with it it could be so nice.

The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. The supposed room "basket" and mini bar were NOT in the room upon arrival as it's been on several occasions my family and I have stayed there before, however, I was still charged for it multiple times. The staff was not helpful at all and after disputing the additional charges I was told it was here say and ultimately had to pay for the hotels mistake and poor housekeeping. Perhaps instead of ripping people off they should invest in better mattresses.

The only things this place has going for it are the pool & beach access. No room service. No regular coffee for in room coffee maker. No beach towels one entire day- which might explain why water stopped during my shower. Maintenance said he would find another shower for us to use the next day!Concierge was indifferent at best, particularly the young lady on her phone when we were asking for beach towels that we're never ready.. No liquor in frozen drinks unless you watched bartender make it. Room quality very poor and not worth half the cost. A pool and beach view do not justify this price. Shameful.

I never take the time to leave reviews anywhere but I had to do it for this hotel. Please DO NOT STAY HERE! I regret not reading the reviews before booking here. We paid $350 for one night and this is easily worth less than $100 a night. When I first arrived one of the blinds fell on my son’s head as he tried to open it. I tried leaving but they told me I wouldn’t be getting a refund if I left because I can’t cancel. The room is alright, it smelled funky when we arrived but the bed comforter was dirty and gross. When I asked for a replacement they took forever to bring us one and they only brought a bed sheet, no replacement for bed comforter. I wouldn’t be complaining if prices were reasonable but charging “resort” prices for a building with no actual front desk, horrible customer service, dirty bed sheets, etc. it’s insane and ridiculous. Don’t waste your money!!!!!!!

Depending on the building you are in the loading/unloading area is 20ft or 100 ft from the elevator. You can only park about 250ft from the closest building. The blinds on the rooms are broken and come out of the tracks, the door to our room has the screws for the hinges coming out so to open or close the door you have to pick it up and it moves about an inch up and down. We got a room to sleep 6 people but it can sleep a max of 5. The room has two full mattress and a twin mattress pull out couch. We ended up going and buying some air mattress to use instead. There fridge in the room is a mini fridge so if you want to put anything in there good luck. Also the prices for the “snack bar” are insane. The room itself was not the worst I’ve seen in south padre but it had a musty smell and was not cleaned properly. We found a few pills on the floor and the towels had some kinda chip residue on them. The pool was okay but it was a max of 4 ft deep and was missing tiles all over
