      image I signed a contract at a promotional rate. Less than 3 months later, my rate was doubled. When I called to address the rate increase, I was told to call back the day the increase went into effect and request a tenant rate adjustment to lower the rate. When I called back on that date, I was told no adjustment could take place. Beware of predatory practices such as offering a low promotional rate, moving all your things in, and then being hit with a double rate increase less than 3 months later.
