Housekeeping and management are rude and argumentative , rooms not cleaned & ready after checking in. Have almost always stayed at holiday inn but wish I chose a different one this go around. For $200 night I could have gotten a far better room probably with better management or at-least management that wasnt rude. Room did appear clean after we were reassigned and actually in a room 2.5 hours after check in begins.

Not your typical HIE!!! This HIE has to be the worst one I have stayed at to date. Noisy. Close to the 4 lane traffic. Door locks are out dated and dont work most of the time, had to go down twice to have key redone so it would work. Even then their response was Try doing it really slow the locks are old and it takes a bit for $225 a night you would think maybe update your facilities!!! Breakfast was mediocre. Did not get my pancakes cause like everything else the machine did not work. Rooms were ok could have been cleaned better. Beds were decent. Do yourself a favor San Angelo has a lot of hotels shop around I know next time Ill be doing a better job of that myself!! Very Very disappointed!!!

I travel a lot for work and typically stay in Holiday Inns or Hilton Hotels. I decided to stay at this location since all of the recent Holiday Inns I have stayed in have been nice, comfortable, and updated.
This Holiday Inn falls way below the standards of the others. The front desk was nice and breakfast was your typical experience. The common areas could be better maintained and cleaned. The entire three days of my stay, a dirty coffee cup sat on top of the water fountains in the lobby. Out of all the employees that pass this area daily, not one could trash it to keep up appearances?
The room... The room had rusted some rusted metal surfaces and the window shade was in terrible condition. A lot of "orange" whatever it is around the caulking of the tub and very loose toilet. Coffee maker was super dirty and never seems to get any maintenance besides a basic wipe down. The worst part, the bathroom sink. Completely clogged with hair. You could visibly see the clog just looking at the sink. Blobs of hair stuck in the drain. Even if the cleaning crew only wipes down the sink and never runs the faucet, they would, most certainly, scrap some of this hair out of the drain as they wiped it down. Since it was late, I had already unpacked, and had driven 4 hours to get there, I took are of the issue myself. No guest should ever have to pull this blobs of hair out of a drain. This is one of the top 2 worst experiences I have ever had at a Holiday Inn... and I've only had 2 bad experiences with this hotel group.
This is also the only hotel that I have every stayed in that slides your receipt under your door in the middle of the night. Almost like they don't want to have any interaction with you for check out or ask you anything about your stay.
