I was scared of the process because what needed attention was what kept me alive "my heart"... and Dr. Szczytowski said you're in good hands. He repaired what needed to be repaired in my heart and I appreciate him for helping extend my life here on this earth.

I was in for a check-up after a recent replacement of my pacemaker. I expected to see and interact with the surgeon. I did not. I expected to have my pacemaker interrogated. It was not. I am not sure what was accomplished on this visit. Evidently, I will have the opportunity to repeat this "procedure" in 1 year.
