I absolutely love Miss Tina, all her loving teachers and staff! My 3 year old has learned and grown academically from the amazing care she receives at Cambridge Academy. I highly recommend this school to all parents, you will have peace of mind like I do.

The Cambridge Academy has been the best experience from the moment I toured with Ms. Tina before enrolling my kids. The entire teaching staff is so welcoming each time my husband or I drop off/pick up the kids, they all know my children as if the kids were in their specific classroom all day. I am happy to say we will not be moving the kids until they reach kindergarten and have to move on to a new school. I will continue to highly recommend this Academy to family, friends and strangers looking for child care with a strong curriculum, loving and safe environment for their babies to learn and grow at. (If you are not located in the Plano area like us, it is worth the drive.)

Excellent childcare facility! My two children (soon to be three) absolutely love Cambridge Academy. It shows all the time as my children frequently talk about their teachers and peers! The quality of the professionals who care for the children also understood the importance of remaining open for essential workers during the current coronavirus pandemic. Childcare was happily the last thing I had to worry about. The precautions they have taken have showed, as they have been open the entire time. All of the staff are kind, caring, and friendly. The growth I see in my children amazes me everyday. They have learned so much that I know that this is the right place for my children to be developing in these very important years prior to formal school.

I strongly advise to think twice before enrolling in this daycare. My child attended Cambridge for the past two summers. In the summer of 2019, we had a great experience. The summer of 2020 was completely the opposite. My issues with this establishment range from very poor communication on the part of the management and staff to safety concerns.
From the beginning, I asked for a daily schedule. They never could provide one. A lot of important communications were actually only delivered to me via my 5 year old child! I was told upon enrollment that they weren’t going to be naps. A few weeks in my child one day informed me that he was required to take a nap that day. When I asked him what he used for a blanket he said he didn’t get one. When I questioned the director about it, she told me they had misbehaved that day and needed a nap. A few days later he told me it happened again, so I started sending his sleeping stuff with him just in case. It quickly became a daily thing even though there was never an official communication sent home regarding this. My son also described an incident where he got in trouble for being silly during naptime and was punished by them taking away his blanket and lovie? That is abusive if you ask me. My child also informed me of an incident where he was physically and verbally attacked. When I questioned the director she had no knowledge of it until she then questioned the teacher.
They reaped the benefits of the pandemic by changing their hours from 6:30am-6:30pm to 7am-5pm. There was really no justifiable reason for this. They also took very few pictures and since we had no way to check up them because the parents weren’t permitted to enter the facility. There was no way to monitor their activities. In 2019, my son came home with countless arts and crafts from activities they would work on each day. This year, I think he brought something home twice over the whole summer. On a daily basis, my son was flipflopped between different classrooms and teachers. He described a large amount of his time was spent watching the older kids play videogames in the computer lab. I paid over a hundred and fifty dollars more compared to last year, and they had shorter hours and their pool wasn’t even working.
Unfortunately, I could continue with 3-4 more complaints, but I have to get up early tomorrow and don’t have the mindpower to write them out.
