$150-$200 a night is crazy for a hotel that is falling apart. Hand rail in elevator is literally coming off. Just because its magnolia shouldnt mean you charge more and have a trash product.

Hello, my name is Hellen and I really loved the formal treatment they have, the staff was very attentive, I speak Spanish but the receptionist only spoke English, very nice, she translated everything for me through a call to her boss, he is a very empathetic guy and very formal. I am one of the people who most supports integrity and work ethics because that means there is a very good flow of camaraderie and love when serving the user!!!! I am very happy to be here and that the treatment has been decent for me and my son!!!! Congratulations LA QUINTA FAMILY

I wish I could give them zero stars. Absolutely no respect or care for the people staying here. They did not warn us of a water outage, or that there was a boil water request declared by the City. Many customers were very upset, and had to leave MID stay. The hotel is refusing to refund any of us. They are claiming it is a, "city issue" and that we should have known better.

They had no water the morning of the wedding we were attending. They offered nothing in response to the problem. They never warned us, didn't provide any bottled water to drink, and offered no discounts or refunds.
When we woke up and had no water to use we called and asked the front desk. They'd been having water issues the past few days before we even arrived and didn't warn us about it. It was the city shutting it off, but a warning would have been the least they could do.
I dug deeper and found out when we did have water the city was under a boil water warning. This means the water was unsafe to drink, consume, or use even when we had access. They never warned us of the outages or the unsafe water quality.
They violated Texas law in the process. Here is the law:
Health & Safety Code Section 341.066
Tourist Courts, Hotels, Inns, and Rooming Houses
(a)A person operating a tourist court, hotel, inn, or rooming house in this state shall:
(1)provide a safe and ample water supply for the general conduct of the tourist court, hotel, inn, or rooming house; and
(2)submit samples of the water at least once a year before May 1 to the department for bacteriological analysis.
(b)A tourist court, hotel, inn, and rooming house must be equipped with an approved system of sewage disposal maintained in a sanitary condition.
(c)An owner or operator of a tourist court, hotel, inn, or rooming house shall keep the premises sanitary and shall provide every practical facility essential for that purpose.
This location has poor management who didn't provide warnings or do anything to try and help or make it right after the fact. If all they did was warn us about the outages and water quality issues and provided some water bottles I'd be leaving a good review. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I feel this one is necessary for health and safety as a warning before you stay here. Please be safe and consider staying elsewhere where they may care more about your safety and well-being.
On top of this the morning we lost water we were attending a wedding and had to leave and shower at the gym instead because they had no water. I'd look elsewhere for your hotel stay because regardless of the situation itself in or out of their control, they failed to provide any warnings, compensation, or help as a result of the situation which is poor customer service and management.
Safety: It was unsafe due to poor water quality while we had access combined with water outages where we had no access to water during our stay. They provided no clean or safe water to use. They also provided no warnings or resolutions as a result of the issues. Please be safe and consider staying elsewhere where they may care more about your safety and well-being.

The rooms and hallways have random wet spots that DO NOT dry. The mattress covers kept coming off ever time me or my wife moved. The breakfast was absolutely garbage and the pictures and site show a hot tub however it was removed. I got to the hotel the night desk clerk was nice but I paid in advance but they charged me again even after showing where it had pulled from my account. The daytime guy was more concerned with his cell phone rather than me. And I highly recommend staying out of the elevator, I happen to be up against the door when going up and it opened half way when we were between floors but it did close again. There are bleach stains in front of each room from the cleaning crew and the plumbing in both my room and my inlaws room was terrible. I prefer to stay at la quinta when we travel but I won't be staying at this one EVER again.
Rooms: Wet spots that don't seem to dry, bleach stains in front of every door, mattress cover kept coming off and plumbing in the shower was terrible
Safety: Elevator severely needs to be attended to as it opened in between floors, only half way but still and it feels like it's on its last leg.
Food & drinks: Breakfast tasted like cardboard and coffee was terrible
