This has to be the most rude government staff that I have ever encountered. I'm sure they're boss judge ball is allowing this but something needs to be done in Angelina County for oversight but this is not a good representation. They talk to you on the phone rydr when you ask them a question in the office they are rude the lady made a mistake on a question and she just jumped out being rude instead of listening to the question. Someone in the Lufkin district needs to retrain these people. The judge is older and obviously unable to properly manage this staff

The staff here are RUDE. They constantly add additional charges to old tickets AFTER they have been paid off. They will not explain charges, will not do anything to help you at all. If you call, beware the people answering are extremely unhelpful and impolite.

I have worked with Judge Ball on several Court at Law cases that our firm had to have in front of his court. He has always handled our business with compassion, caring, and a strong understanding of case law. I recently had an employee pass suddenly, and Judge Ball was called to due his judicial responsibility and assess the scene and sign the death certificate. Judge Ball compassionately handled the situation with grace and care, and the family and I very much appreciated his manner during such a difficult time. He arrived in the middle of the night in jacket, tie, and stayed as long as we had questions. He followed up the next morning at 8:05 AM to handle some additional unexpected details. I and the family appreciate his contributions and going the extra mile. I wanted to write this review to personally thank him for his service to our community. The worst court in lufkin. The judge is one of the worst racist judges. If your not white you will not win your case at all. Please don’t make the same mistake and don’t waste your money here. I hope they remove billy from his positions cause he’s doing a terrible job and making racism part of his judgement. but that’s texas.

Alert, Billy Ball should step down! He is too unethical, ignorant and plays games! Listen people, his term expires December 2018; you don't need to be a lawyer, nor do you need any experience, so go and apply to be the County's Justice of the Peace. They provide training! He is a crook and too old being about 78 years old; he collects social security and receives a paycheck to hurt people! He abuses his position to punish people! I think he earns about $58,000 to be the worst JP ever! You deserve better!
