Terrible facility with no communication with the medical team as other reviewers have noted. Medicine is administered improperly and according to the staffs convenience rather than how it should be delivered. No supervision medically.

I am disgusted with the lack of care my mother received while at this facility. Only 1 aide present on the night shift..and she was lounging on the sofa looking at her cellphone. A licensed nurse was no where to be found in the Diamond building on the night shift. This situation is a HUGE problem. NO communication between the facility staff and the medical staff who were supposed to be providing medical care for my mother. I would not recommend this facility.

I was very impressed with the level of care and attention my father received during his stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure his comfort and well-being, and he couldn't have asked for better care.

On Saturday 3/11, Vincent, a chef at Ruby House, prepared and served the most delicious biscuits and gravy my husband has had anywhere in Lubbock. The biscuits were tender and held together without going to crumbs. The gravy had a perfect consistency of coating the biscuits. Not too thick or thin, just right. The chefs at Diamond House and Ruby House take pride in their work and that makes for an excellent dining experience.
I was here as a resident 2 weeks in October. My husband is here for rehabilitation following shoulder surgery. All departments, dietary, nursing, maintenance, laundry, housekeeping, social services, activities, therapy, and the beauty salon provide services above and beyond the requirements. Administration coordinates the interactions between departments. No facility is perfect, what sets this facility apart is the staffs willingness to provide the extra effort to help.
