I will just keep saying it no matter how many times my review is removed
I had no help what-so-ever when I qualified to transfer to this campus last year, HCC, another god-awfully unhelpful college assured me there would be more career advice there so I wouldn't have to keep taking nothing but basic classes not knowing what to major in, and what happens? They had no answers for me and threw me in liberal arts just like HCC, only difference was their version of canvas "blackboard" was so bad not a single due date was accurate so I didn't even have a chance at getting started until I had to drop all my classes because no classes, professors, or even the DEAN was willing to help, they all gave me the classic education worked "go away" attitude, so now this semester I am back in HCC in the same situation not knowing what to major and they keep talking about transferring here for figuring out my major and I keep having to tell them this same story of why I can't trust this place even if I did know what to do or if they did even bother to help, it's sad when a student has to go back to community college because the university had a broken online system and even ruder, and more unhelpful staff, this might just be the most disappointed I have ever been in my life, it is the manifestation of everything wrong with our education system.

I would not recommend this campus, if you already know how youll be paying for school go there. If youre like me who needs assistance and they tell you about transfer scholarships at the open house and how much they care about you, they dont care. No one is on the same page. I had to miss out a semester of school. I called and called and no one, then their story which was never mentioned at the open house was: My household EC is too much so it disqualified me for the scholarship. Really?? I sent in my pay stubs and everything. This school is full of lies. Go to any other campus just forget about this one, quite honestly they need to shut it down. Whats soo sad is Tammy gave me her contact information, boy did she fluff at that open house when it came time for enrollment she texted me one time and after calling her about the scholarship she never texted or returned my calls. I felt like I was scammed. Please for your blood pressure and peace of mind just stay away.

They lack in communication and no one is in sync with the other. Its hard to talk to anyone because they are not located on this campus. For example financial aid office, your advisors, business office. When you call to speak someone you cant. Its like more a answering center that take your name and number and someone supposed to call you back. That someone rarely call you back. They lied about the transfer grant you supposed to get $1000 for transferring from HCC to them. Not true its only $500 for one semester. Which is not what was stated. When you ask about it you get the run around. Almost everything they said at recruiting meeting was a lie. Now there is another issue about payment. Getting the run around on that. I wish I would have walked away when I had the chance but school have started and I cant transfer because other schools have started. I just hope my classes is more on professional organized level.Avoid Avoid Avoidoh you also pay for parking on this campus but across the street HCC IS FREE. Yes I know its a UHV CAMPUS but you are a small campus. HCC campus are bigger than this.
