The Marion County Chamber of Commerce is the local advocate for business and commerce in Jefferson and greater Marion County. This place is an excellent resource if you are a new business, or an existing business, in terms of promoting your local business and gaining more customers.
The staff at this place are very friendly, and they are always eager to help out either a new business or an existing business. If you are a business owner in Marion County, I highly encourage you to join the chamber. It fosters a sense of community and only helps the economic development of Jefferson and greater Marion County.

The folks at the chamber have patiently gone above and beyond the call of duty and done everything possible (I believe) to help me pull off the wedding of my dreams. It hasn't happened yet and I am still struggling with vendors but the people at the chamber are truly professional and they will go the extra mile for you, especially Juanita and Charlie. They "get it"...meaning nothing gets done without building relationships with people and everybody deserves the courtesy of a call back, even if it is only to say "I got your message. I don't have an answer for you yet. Will call as soon as I do." Unfortunately this is not the norm, but the chamber folks are a wonderful resource.
