Kevin is EXCELLENT!!! And we absolutely love our photos. Kevin really goes the extra mile, and the service he provides goes far beyond his amazing photography. From our first consultation call, to the engagement shoot, to our wedding day, Kevin was so communicative. He honestly was more like a wedding consultant at some points. He helped set up our preliminary day-of itinerary because it ultimately serves as his photo schedule. When we found out our venue access time could not be as early as we needed, he came up with a plan to still get us our getting ready and first look photos before the ceremony. Despite being familiar with our venue, he did a venue walkthrough with us to make sure we had a mutual understanding of how everything would run. On the day-of, I don’t know if he had our itinerary memorized or if he just had it pulled up on his phone (probably both), but he was so mindful of our schedule and played a big role in helping the day run smoothly. He arrives early, stays to the end. He gives great tips and cues. He is unobtrusive to your day yet also very present and takes initiative to get you all the shots you want and would want. Somehow, amidst everything going on, he is still constantly on his toes to find his next creative shot. He is definitely not your run of the mill, big box photographer. His talent, efforts, and care show in his photography.

Kevin was wonderful to work with during our engagement shoot and on our wedding day! He was very knowledgeable and helped us with posing techniques as this was our first time having professional photos done. The photos were completed and given to us to view within a fairly quick amount of time and Kevin was very responsive to all of our emails during the planning process. We would definitely recommend him for any and all of your event photos!

Kevin did my friend's wedding and did an amazing job. He is very creative with the variety of pictures and patient to get the perfect shot. Would highly recommended You Kai Creations for any future event.

We received our photos several weeks after the wedding day which was a very pleasant surprise. I was impressed on how quickly we got all our photos from Kevin since I heard from my friends that theirs took at least 8 months to a year when working with different photographers. Kevin was able to get us sneak peaks shortly after the wedding and everything else several weeks after that! AMAZING!! Kevin is very energetic and is good at maintaining that energy throughout the big day showing no signs of slowing down as the day went on. Spoke with him several times before the big day to make sure we were on the same page when it came to what kind of photos I was looking for (even sent him some Pinterest inspo) and timing. I felt like he really listened to me on what I wanted and did his best to incorporate it. Kevin was great at instructing us on how to pose to make sure we got different shots/angles since me and the groom were a little awkward trying to pose. My makeup/hair stylist was being pushy that day and wanted to do things her way (timing and place) but Kevin stood up for me several times to her so I didn't have to look like the bad guy (Thanks Kevin!!). Overall, professional and courteous, would definitely recommend 10/10!

Weddings are stressful enough as is but Kevin at You Kai Creations took care of all our photography needs giving us peace of mind on our big day and after, a boatload of these timeless photos that we shall treasure forever! He's easy to work with, extremely communicative, punctual, and professional.
