I registered about 5 weeks ago for a blogging class for last Saturday but never heard from anyone about where it would be scheduled or if it was still on - despite repeated calls to their office that no one EVER answered or called me back, although the robo-message said to leave a message. They were VERY quick to process my payment, within a day or so of my registering, so someone is doing office work someplace. SO I went to their 6363 Richmond office on the appointed day and of course NO ONE was there. There was mail on the floor of the reception area which looked to me like no one had been there in awhile. Another office was open and they said they had a lot of people trying to find someone to speak to at Leisure Learning. I have to give them 1 star in order to post the review. I am afraid they may have become a FRAUD company, which is sad because through the years I have had some very nice courses from Leisure Learning.

I am sorry to hear that you moved from the old location and changed up your webpage and now have little or poor offerings. I was looking today for a class to send a middle aged person who has little computer experience but I find not only the location has changed but the new web site is worthless, to say the least. It is not a friendly system and has no clear choice of classes or their content. Actually it is somewhat difficult to find the web page for Leisure Learning at all. It appears LLU is making a drive to become a magnet school and as a retired teacher, they are in the wrong business. The course selection was much more attractive to people under the previous program though to be honest my experience in the few classes I have taken seems they were fair at best. I will never drive fifty miles out there to take a class and that is too bad because even at the level of instruction in the old location I found the time well spent for hobby topics. I believe this program has lost it direction and or have changed goals. In either case you can have it.

The website is little to be desired. Wanted to look for class only found computer classes link. I thought they had art and etc. classes too. Maybe they changed. If they do have art they really need a basic webpage.

I have taken many Leisure Learning classes over the years and have benefited from each one. Our economy being what it is, apparently LLU has experienced some harsh times. How petty and selfish are you people to complain about the process not going as you expected -- these people don't have the funds to pay you back right now, but they probably will, since this has been their labor of love for so long. Thank you LLU -- and perhaps another iteration will rise from the ashes. Hey, owning a business, especially one in trouble, can be extremely harsh and emotionally debilitating. Lighten up and keep them in your prayers.

Disclaimer: I had to award at least one star to post this review. Review: Leisure Learning Unlimited is either a scam outfit or just a horribly run business. I registered (and paid) for a welding class in September. The class was to be held on a Saturday in late October. I got a call the night before the class (about 6:30pm) informing me that the class had been canceled because I was the ONLY enrollee. The guy that called said he'd be back in touch on Monday to reschedule or process my refund. Fast-forward two months, and I still haven't heard anything from them, despite repeated calls to their office answering machine. (I've decided they don't really have an office or staff.) Payment has never been refunded. Class has never been rescheduled. Calls have never been returned. Strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your leisure learning requirements - like, say, the internet, or a moderately intelligent 4-year-old.
