This place charges way too much! Post Op overnight stay $240K. The doctors are all shareholders/owners. My insurance company declined their claim because they did not obtain pre-authorization. I have been trying for over a year to get the $1K that I had to pay at check in refunded to no avail.

Worst run billing department I have ever come across! The hospital made a billing error to the insurance company and the claim was denied..they were not paid a penny except the deductible they took from me. ( They now owe me $6,336) It was an easy fix but their incompetence in absolutely NO FOLLOW UP even when they are given complete instructions what to do to correct in time has turned this into an unnecessary 20 month nightmare for me. I have made hundreds of phone calls to the hospital billing department, administration, corporate and the insurance company including three way calls with the insurance company to get it corrected, settled them paid and my deductible back. They have made NO EFFORT. Why is it so difficult to get them to do what they need to collect payment from the insurance company for an expensive surgery? Insane! Now, I have finally managed to get THEM PAID.... I still can't get anything from them but voicemail or "call back in a few weeks". If it were not for my efforts, the insurance would never have paid them a penny! They should be doing everything they can to thank me instead of continuing to insult me with indefference. What happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE? .... I am Registered Nurse who has worked for over 30 years in hospital settings. I have also been a patient quite a few times in several different hospitals the past few years thanks to an active lifestyle. This is way below standards! I also was in MISERABLE PAIN all night due to an I'll fitting neck brace. The staff didn't want to "bother" the Dr until morning to let him know! I knew what was wrong and they ignored me!
