Today was my first visit. I felt the caring, professionalism and the attention already.

We get to read Patients reviews, rarely staff member leaves a review.
Here is my story:
September 26, 2023, I was walking across dark parking lot before the sunrise on my way to work, when I have stepped on something round and as a result, fell and broke my arm. I took a pretty strong fall because, as always, I was walking fast. I still went upstairs to my job and first aid, cleaning out the wounds on my knees, pain management, as well as an initial assessment were done by Dr. Nelson, as well as Elizabeth. Since the pain and swelling didnt subside, I have decided to go to the ER where I got X-rays and an official diagnosis Acute, comminuted, mildly displaced intra-articular distal radial fracture. I got the temporary splint at the ER on that day. Michelle from Dr. Nelsons office came to check on me while I was at the ER and then helped ER nurse to put the temporary splint on my arm, carried my bag back to the office.
I was sent home that day by Dr. Nelson and spent 2 more days at home trying to manage the pain and figuring out functioning with one hand. While I was home for the following 2 days, every day, sometimes a few times per day, Dr. Nelson, Amparo, Jay, Michelle, Karla, Dianna, Donna, called and or texted to check on me, Elizabeth provided wound care for my badly injured knees till they healed a couple of weeks ago. I was back to work that Friday and I would like to mention that throughout all this experience, beside my closest friends, I have been supported mentally and emotionally by the Doctor I work for, by his Family and Staff. Dr. Bruce R. Nelson, who throughout these experiences made my employment possible (even with one hand), made sure that I have home made meals, made sure that I am being taken care of by the best orthopedic surgeon in town, made sure that my spirits remained high. Hang on, kiddo. I am hanging on and I am very happy and blessed. Needless to say that Dr. Nelsons staff and family are in my daily prayers.
P.S.: I hope that Dr. Nelson is not upset with me for this review. He is completely unaware and he is a modest man. Its very unique to experience a Doctor who treats with such passion and care not only his Patients, but also his Staff.
I am simply blessed

Kudos to Dr. Nelson! He has been my "go-to" physician for my skin issues that have arisen over the tears from my youthful beach time surfing, and my other outdoor activities. I am 72, and Dr. Nelson is the most caring and compassionate Physician that I have ever had. He truly cares about each and every patient's wellbeing, and takes the time to listen and discuss the situation. He is brilliant, has impeccable credentials, and has a GREAT staff. He has been the angel on my shoulder since the first time I went to him. He texts or calls me periodically to check up on me. It does not get better than that.

Myself, my wife, my daughter, and my son-in-law have all gone to Dr. Nelson for the past several years. I recommend him highly, hes attentive, explains your diagnosis and procedures, you can ask him questions, and his staff is just unbelievable! He is the only doctor that personally follows up with a phone call the same day to see how youre doing, I know of no doctor other than him that does that!
