Flying Pho

Came in late after running service calls all day in Houston’s summer (7a-11pm). Great portions, I was on the phone and they took my order with minimal talking. Very respectful(and greatly appreciated). The atmosphere is calming. Definitely coming back!

Its a no go for me, the pho was bland, they use wide noodles which were hard and when my pho was brought out it was lukewarm not steaming hot like the other places.

Love the atmosphere, Laid back, chill and quiet. First time I ever visited I had the pleasure of being helped by the owner. Had the egg rolls as a snack and to check out the new Pho place in the neighborhood. I love the fact that he had a futon couch on one side of the restaurant.

Just a heads up that Flying Pho is of the Northern style, not the typical Southern style that most are familiar with. The waiter was very knowledgeable, giving us a quick lesson on the differences between the two styles. Food was great, and there was quick service.

Pho was bland, despite being rich in beef flavor, not a grain of salt. Was not able to get sriracha or anything else for that matter to enhance the flavor. Girlfriend and I walked in to loud house music and were the only ones there... (pro tip: loud annoying music is not great for atmosphere when only two people are there.)
