Texas eye institute is the best place to come for any of your eye care needs. I see doctor Decker and he is so incredible. I have lupus and as a result I have an ocular occlusion which can cause blindness, doctor Decker gave my sight back to me. The staff is so friendly and caring, you can't ask for a better place for your eye care needs.

My Dr and his treatment staff are great and I appreciate the fine service for over 20 years. The front office staff is just the opposite. I stood in line by myself with no one being attended to. All I wanted was to hand in my paperwork. They had no interest in helping me and made that very apparent. There were a number of folks standing and talking with no one servicing patients. It was even worse trying to checkout. 15 minutes in line waiting and when I got to a window a nurse charged in to move a person in line behind me to service them first. By then my back pain made it impossible to stand any longer. The staff has no idea of Customer Service. I suspect they have little supervision and no patient survey after service. Still find the Drs services to be outstanding.

My grandmother has been a patient here for a long time. At first they treated her with respect, but the last few times the doctor (Dr. Decker) and his staff have been extremely rude. While we were waiting for my grandmother's appointment in the waiting room, the staff called another patient to go into the room and the patient couldn't see very well so they kept bumping into the furniture. The staff laughed at the patient in front of everyone (in front of other staff, in front of the patient, and in front of everyone else in the waiting room!) They also made us wait at least 6 hours to be seen, we arrived at 2:00 pm and we waited until 8:30 pm. We weren't even seen by the doctor because we decided to leave since it was getting too late and they were being disrespectful to everyone. We definitely felt discriminated against since we're an ethnic minority and my grandmother is disabled as well. WE WILL NOT BE COMING HERE AGAIN! Save your time and money, go elsewhere unless you're happy with being disrespected! Having a medical degree means nothing if you lack compassion toward your patients.
