Let's start with the nurses Xuxa and Viviana- ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE LADIES. Dr.Matus is hands down AMAZING! The 1 star is for the "GOD FORBID" you get the answering service. They are horrible!! As I'm trying to leave a message for the office. I ended up speaking with Katrina today with the answering service and got a lecture of hospital protocol. Excuse me, but i'm not calling the hospital, I am calling to leave a message for the Dr. Needless to say she refused to take my message and hung up on me. My mom had to walk back across the hospital to the dr office to speak to someone. Again, this review is solely based on the experience with the answering service. My mom called for 2 weeks straight to get an appoinment for my dad and never recieved a call back after leaving messages with the answering service. UPDATE 09/28/2021: Fast forward to today: dad is admitted in the hospital. I feel like his current situation could have been treated/ caught sooner had the answering service done their job and relayed the message instead of trying to "school" the caller of hospital protocol. i personnaly do not feel that an answering service is in the position to triage a call if they do not have access to a patients chart.
