No problem with Dr. Baumgartner, himself. Unfortunately, I only saw him twice in a year and a half. The problem I have is with the office staff. They are rude, have zero respect for others and blatantly lied to me. I got used to waiting, as it was usually at least an hour wait, despite always arriving 15 minutes early for my appointments. My final visit was the final one due to the unorganized and incompetent front desk staff. Upon arriving, I asked what the wait time would be. Normally I wouldn't be too concerned, but on that day I had another doctor appointment that I couldn't afford to miss. The staff member tells me that the wait was approximately 20 minutes, as there were 3 others before me. Great I thought, as I had plenty of time to make it to my next appointment. An hour and a half goes by and I witnessed 6 others go before me. My time is now running out and I have to get to my next appointment. I explain to the staff that I've been patiently waiting and I was mislead and lied to. I told them that I couldn't wait any longer due to my other appointment (now 2 hours past my appt time). They simply said "Sorry, it will be another hour or so. You have 6 others before you.". How did it go from 3 before me to 12? They couldn't explain and had no concern or regards for my time and other obligations. They said that there was nothing they could do. If I wanted to get my medicine, my only option was to continue to wait. My response was, Oh no, I have plenty of other options. Please refund my payment and I'll find another doctor, which is exactly what I did.

have intentionally held off on posting a review until I had seen this doctor for a while, and could give a good review. this doctor is a bit difficult to get into, I have heard, I was referred by Baylor so I didn't have that problem, personally. office is small, but kept clean. he is very knowledgeable, and has a great PA and staff. but he will make sure of your motives, tho, because this is NOT a 'script doc'. it is genuine 'pain management'. I have been seeing this doctor for over a year now, and I really like him a lot!
