Debbie Walcott, MD

This is one of the worse physicians at Kelsey seybold if not the worst. Now don’t get me wrong Kelsey seybold is an awesome clinic with very good providers yet Dr. Walcott just isn’t one of them. She has a very bad attitude overall nonchalant and unfriendly personality. She gives off the impression of someone that doesn’t enjoy their job. I’m leaving this review years later after being half serviced by her. I normally wouldn’t leave a review simply because I don’t like to cause problems for people. I normally allow God to mend my worries. Yet I feel as though she’s very unprofessional and future clients should know what they’re walking into. She walked out on me in the middle of service hence she didn’t have the patience to deal with the issue I came in for. I remember her saying “I’m not gynecology so…” my question to her is why not just refuse servicing me when you were notified of my appointment? could’ve saved me from wasting my time. Basically after me paying my co-pay she decides to walk off on me and leave me laying on the examination table. Her assistant literally came back in was like “yeah I don’t think she’s coming back” very unprofessional. Don’t take patients money yet not service them 100%. To this day I have a fear of being serviced by African American physicians simply because of the attitude problems and it’s from this encounter alone. For the life of me I can never understand why individuals choose such careers with unfriendly personalities.

Dr . Walcott is very professional, listens with care and concern, very pleasant and compassionate about her patients.

Lol how did she get 5 stars. I guess all from friends or maybe herself made fake accounts. I am a doctor evaluating this one, I really can not call her a doctor. Medical knowledge is similar to what I see in second year medical student so very bad medical knowledge. Rude and unprofessional.

She should not be given the title of being a physician. I had issues with headaches, nausea, back pain, and fatigue and made it seem like those symptoms were not serious enough to treat. However, she did find it necessary to bill my insurance $270. I had a telehealth visit with her and she didn't even try to make the software work on her end so she just called me. She was very rude and didn't seem to care about what I was going through. I asked if she could order labs to a location near me but she said I could only do in office. That didn't work for me because I felt horrible and didn't want to drive far. I then asked if she knew of physician in different fields, her reply was to call me insurance. She prescribed me meds that were for someone who recently undergone chemotherapy and radiation and I hadon't had that don't in 14 years. She didn't listen to me or care about what I was going through. She should not be practicing medicine at all. Very unprofessional. No empathy or compassion.
