Went in to pick up equipment, which Xfinity told me I could pick up anytime, but upon arrival was told the apartment I was moving into had a hold on it, meaning the previous tenant had a remaining balance so I could not pick up my equipment & my plan had already been cancelled. Obviously, I placed my order online/over the phone so it's not this stores fault that Xfinity does not have a process in place for telling you this upon sign up. But, instead of assisting me further they said I had to call Rapid Review to get this settled, which was already closed for the day (5PM) and that I'd have to wait until 6AM to call again. I had recently moved to this apartment & work from home so I needed to get this up and running today. I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do. I spent 45 minutes or so on the phone with Xfinity support and was told only thing I could do is go in with my lease contract to prove who I was. I went back to the store and was told by another employee he could try restarting it and magically everything was fine, and they didn't even ask for any identification or proof of lease. Long story short, wasted a whole bunch of my time and the fact that I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do was just ridiculous. At least make some form of effort instead of just telling the customer to just call at 6AM, assuming we all have the luxury to do all of this before the workday begins. Meanwhile, everyone else was in and out of the store. I usually don't write reviews like this but a lot of us work from home nowadays and can't simply take "try again tomorrow" as a solution. If you're going to provide a critical service, such as internet, provide it! Don't you want my money anyway? Why make it so hard to give you my money? Anyway, the second dude that helped me was great. Shoutout him.

I was put out the store and the lead Andi refused to assist me further not because I was belligerent or being a difficult customer.....it was because it was 8:30pm and she said the stores supervisor called her and told her to tell me I had to leave because they closed 8pm. Please keep in mind Andi was actually on the phone with Xfinity support at the time and was supposed to be assisting me with my phone issues. I have never in my life experienced such horrible unprofessional service. I have filed a complaint with the FCC because this is not acceptable.
