I have had the pleasure of working on Karen's projects for the past twelve years. She is extremely organized and has an eye for detail. Her projects run smoothly and always turn out first class.

Karen is a fantastic interior designer!! She thoroughly understood our style, our tastes, and our budget. Her designs were perfect – calm, comfortable, and stunning. Her attention to detail is incredible – from framing selections to accessories. We absolutely love our home she designed and highly recommend her.

“Marker Girl” Karen Davis designed our formal living room space. She is the perfect mix of professional and personable, organized and artistic, fastidious and friendly. For the duration of our project, she tracked and clearly communicated costs, deadlines, and installation dates. She stayed on top of third parties, identified mistakes and delays, rectified them, and always let me know right away when there were any delays. She maintains good relationships with dependable third party providers (upholstery, drapery, furniture design, wall art, installers) yet is meticulous about every piece arriving in perfect condition and installed correctly. She listened to our preferences and offered options that are in line with our needs and lifestyle. Although she is truly an artist, I never felt that she was ignoring our needs for the sake of her “vision”. The end result is a room that is both beautiful and durable, as we have a large family with small children. Specifically, She was able to offer us family-friendly upholstery options that are tough and can be easily cleaned; also she was very thoughtful about accessory placement so that breakable items were not in high-traffic areas. We had a great experience with Karen and still love our room after 6 mos. of living in it. And of course we get many compliments on the room.

Working with Marker Girl was better than I could've imagined. I hit it off immediately with Karen, and she was able to bring my vision to life. As a working mom of 2 young kids, it was very important that everything we had was functional (and easily to clean!) but still aesthetically pleasing. Karen knocked it out of the park. She's so easy to work with, very responsive, and just a great person overall. I can't recommend her enough.
