        Every time I call I'm always on hold for over 30 mins. I can just hang up with them and call right back and still hold forever. Over all they are a good banck they call time just ridiculous

        Terrible customer service they keep ACH my other bank account after trying to stop this and have failed to close my account after 2 attempts to do so. Very disappointed.

        The bank would be great if they added a deposit ATM. Over the phone is good if you call before noon if not leave a message get a call back at 3. Windows are nice and helpful

      Houston Metropolitan Federal Credit Union (HMFCU) is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that was chartered in 1945 to meet the financial needs of current, former, and retired employees of the City of Houston and Harris Health Systems. In 2003, the Credit Union expanded its membership to anyone living, working, attending school, or worshipping within 25 miles of either branch location, encompassing the entire Houston Metropolitan Area. Now over 14,000 members strong and with assets topping $60 Million, Houston Metropolitan stands proud of its growth and accomplishments. HMFCU remains dedicated to the mission of providing excellent products and services that will improve not only each member's financial health but also the surrounding underserved communities through financial services and education.
