Great doctor!  Very personal care. Great at diagnosing issues. Will always squeeze us in. Never rushes you and treats the whole patient.

Uses an annual Medical Home Fee. If you leave her practice, oh, make sure you tell her! I left over a year ago because they no longer took my insurance and I couldn't afford this fee on top of out-of-pocket expenses. I *never* went back.I finally got new insurance she accepted. I needed to make an appointment today after an unexpected trip to the ER last night. When I called, I was told I owed OVER 400 for Medical Home Fees, including back fees for when I wasn't being seen. They tried talking to Dr. Blazek to see if she would wave any of these or make an exception, but she said no, that it's "in the paperwork" about having to notify them if I leave the practice.Guess what? I looked on her website. It isn't.

I cannot say enough about Dr Blazek! I started seeing her around 2007 and she diagnosed me with chronic fatigue syndrome after I had been a medical mystery for 10+ years to other doctors. She was surprised I had not been diagnosed for for so long because she considered me a textbook case. She took her time with me and went through my whole medical history which is very complicated. She figured things out that no one else even mentioned. I have so many specialists I need to see for all my different health issues and she was great at coaching me to help me prioritize what doctors, what tests and how to go about things without losing my sanity. She takes notes on her computer as you're talking to her, (while still staying very attentive,) which is really important for someone like me who is having to go through trying to prove I'm sick. She has that perfect balance of kindness, bedside manner, being detail-oriented and also letting you know when you are not doing what you need to do to get yourself better. I live in Colorado now and I cannot find a doctor like her here, (my primary care here is very nice and helpful she just is not as knowledgeable about my particular illness). I am moving back to Houston to start seeing her and one other specialist again. They are the main reasons I am moving back to Texas...(which I much prefer Colorado). She is probably the best doctor I've ever had...specialist or not! If it were not for her I would probably still be looking for a diagnosis for the past 22 years. It is well worth any sort of yearly cost you need to pay for her. She spends a lot of time with her patients and goes above and beyond with the details and taking notes and follow through. I cannot recommend her enough. After nearly 10 years of being sick with no doctor believing me, she was the first one to not only believe me but know exactly what I had and exactly what I needed to do to work on it. She is priceless to me!

Dr. Blazek is a wonderful physician. My husband and I have been patients of hers since 2015 and she has taken great care of us the entire time. She is smart and very astute--she really pays attention to you as a person and takes her time to talk through what's going on.As someone mentioned, she does have a medical home fee (which IS listed prominently on her website, by the way) and that fee is something becoming more common with doctors today. Why? Insurance has not only run up costs for consumers but for practitioners as well. That fee ensures that she has the bandwidth to care for her patient load. While I'm not someone who loves to part with my money, I welcome this commitment to her practice because it ensures that our doctor can do their job without financial and logistical barriers.

I was really pleased with Dr. Blazek.  She took great care of my little girl today.  I'll definitely be back if my daughter gets sick when we are in the Houston area.  I love the architecture and decor - which is the work of Craig Garcia, of Gage Design, LLC.
