Shani Tara H MD

Dr. Shani is a great doctor, however it is very difficult for patients to get an appointment. I've been going to her more than 15 years. The twins she used to have working for her was excellent about working with her patients but now the current staff is horrible. That's a shame because I really love her as my physician.

I have been going to Dr. Shani for a year. I will say that Dr. Shani is super sweet. However, the practice is a joke. First, this practice does not take credit card for payment therefore you can't use your HSA cards. Totally inconvenient in this technological world. They also don't tell you this when you call to make an appointment. This practice also requires you come in every 3 months if you take 'chronic' medication (aka allergy medication, birth control, etc). This is absolutely ridiculous. As if my allergies will miraculously clear up in three months or I will no longer need to take birth control. I understand coming in yearly for physicals and checkups but every 3 months is uncalled for. It is so difficult to get time off of work as it is. It is just another way for them to collect $ from insurance and yourself. As much as I love this doctor I have found service elsewhere.
