He did scoliosis surgery, now I can't walk. Now I have to have another surgery to correct what he did.

February 2020 Dr Hansen & his amazing team performed ACDF on my cervical spine. Prior to surgery I was falling down and had very little use/strength in my upper body. I walked 4 hours after approximately 4 hour surgery which I had not been able to do. Excellent recovery! Fast forward to July 2021, Dr Hansen, Dr Holman & again their amazing team performed 1) L2-3 extreme lateral inter body fusion 2) Removed L3-L4 spinal instrumentation 3) Re-instrumentation & revision/extension posterior fusion L1-L4 4) L2-L3 Laminectomy This was to be approximately a 7 hour surgery He completed the surgery in less than 5 hours & I walked with a walker approximately 6 hours later. I came home 5 days later. Prior to surgery I was informed of a possible ICU stay, 5 day hospital & 7-10 days of rehab. I am a walking pain free miracle because of him! I might add, I am a 66 year old woman, full of life & FINALLY my quality of life back. I encourage anyone with spine issues to seek his opinion & get a consultation with him. I am eternally grateful.

Dr. Hansen operated on my son 10 years ago and corrected his severe scoliosis with incredible results- he had no complications or problems to this day. Now, my daughter will soon have VBT with Dr. Hansen and we are so fortunate to have her under his care!

My visit with Dr. Hanson was for a 2nd opinion after I was told I needed spine surgery for spondylolisthesis. The staff was professional, pleasant and kind. Dr Hanson took time to answer all my questions and concerns. I am thrilled that I do not require surgery at this time. In my opinion, Dr. Hanson will not do surgery unless truly needed. I was given a non surgical plan of treatment and will follow up. I had a good experience and recommend Dr. Hanson.
