I worked for this company for 3 years in the Bakken Shale and Three Forks Formation. And I can confidently say I had the most legible and the most professional looking FSO in the company, compare them to any other FSO and you can prove me wrong. I take pride in my work and am taught until I can teach. I aim to instruct others so they can be successful in the workplace. I worked 2 years full time at a minimum of 80+ service hours a week, and a year rotating out of MT and CA. (2012-2015) I worked my way up the corporate ladder from a worm on a rig to wearing a suit and tie and revising standard running procedures for well head pressure control tools out of Houston HQ. Once WTI pp/bbl began it’s usual bear market descent in 2015, Francisco from HR called me on my first day off tower to tell me that Cactus was letting me go. I understand it was nothing personal as I was the newest employee at corporate without a college education, but I was one of the only service tech’s in the industry at the time who knew how to run every single tool that Cactus had gone live with in those past three years. I taught 30+ technicians and those in supervisory roles from shop foreman to branch manager how to dress and install the CW-MBU-T/LR intermediate casing hanger and backside pack off assy...in shop and field trainings. I introduced the production string tension tubing hanger in the Bakken/Three Forks formations for Hess Corporation that allows pulling units to land out their production string and subsequently drift your tubing hanger through the housing assy and tie in to the well’s BHA and pull tension into the tubing before re-landing your hanger in the housing. I enjoyed working for Cactus wellhead, I loved working in the field, learning the art of application, knowing that my service and my dedication to excellence was paying for the roof over my loved one’s heads and for the bread to break at my table.
