Griffin Construction did a complete renovation of my home and to say I am pleased is an understatement. Robert listened to my ideas and the end result was a house that truly became a home that was completely me. I would recommend them to everyone. They are customer oriented and in the end make you say WOW!

This is being written after our $30k+ project was left abandoned by Griffin Construction, leaving us with a shell of a space riddled with improper work in multiple areas and in need of costly repair to correct and finish.
Despite a contract in place and tens of thousands of dollars paid, they left us with a shell of a space that a reputable company just quoted over $20k with materials to complete to contract terms. This is nearly three times the amount left to be paid on our contract with Griffin Construction had they honored the contract and completed the job. Robert begged us to hire them stating: "I just really want to build our vision..I understand exactly what you want, and relate completely to the reservations you may have with this kind of investment. On that I certainly pull no punches, I’ll deliver...We can build something amazing, or you can hire someone to get pretty good...Anyone who charges less, is giving you just that. Less...You can spend twice as much and it won’t matter. I’m the best, Your project will be the best, whoever else you may want to use won’t do what I will. They can’t...Let’s get moving, I can send you a b.s. Offer with more customer provided materials, or let you regret hiring someone else and just sell you materials, but I won’t. Let’s build this, or not. You’ll never regret it."
However, they didn't deliver or build something amazing, and our biggest regret is in fact hiring this company. They had unlicensed workers moving plumbing and electrical, had to re-do sheetrock floating three times (they left it mid-way through the third attempt), there was minimal oversight, and workers were overheard complaining they didn't know what they were supposed to do, or how to do it. When we expressed our concerns over incorrect work, a lack of oversight, unskilled workers, and the lengthy time it was taking to produce any finished work, we were ignored. When my husband further broached the subject three and a half months into the project, Robert told me he would no longer communicate with him.
Instead of apologizing and trying to rectify the situation, explaining what the issues were, or sending in qualified workers, we were then told they were at a break-even point where it didn't make sense for them to continue working or honoring the contract. I tried Gregg, the owner of the business, asking to meet so we could clear the air and move forward. My call was met with arrogance and hostility. He refused to tell me if they would honor our contract and finish the job, but implied they wouldn't. We tried emailing twice since then with no response and filed a Better Business Bureau claim to find terms with which to settle the matter so we could be reimbursed with the money we paid them in our contract to help off-set the terrible and costly situation they left us in when they abandoned the project. They didn't respond. After weeks with no workers or communication, their answer seemed clear.
We were strongly cautioned about the repercussions of leaving reviews, but did so anyway, as I would want to know about this situation if I were considering hiring this company, and wish that we had been warned before hiring them to start with. Upon posting reviews, I immediately received negative comments and reviews posted on my personal work site and company's work site by Robert and one of his friends in retaliation for sharing our honest experience. Those actions speak volumes and reinforce why such honest reviews are necessary.
I'm more than happy to share all communication, pictures of the deplorable state they left our master bedroom and bathroom in, and any additional details needed to validate this review.
