image I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Competition Trailer owners Ken and Slick when I had to roll my Go Pro Mobil 1 Formula drift team trailer into their facility for some unscheduled service. Despite being extremely busy with orders of new trailers and maintenance on other used trailers they put four of their guys at times 6 guys on my trailer and went front to back completing a long honey do list that I had put together that kept growing as we went they did a fantastic job and I would especially like to thank Wayne and Acca (not sure of that spelling) and the other four guys that worked on my trailer whose names I do not know for their hard work and dedication to doing the job right and getting me out of there quickly. Thanks guys!

image Absolutely horrible experience. I was trying to help a friend's daughter with her RV hot water heater tank which had ruptured during the recent freezes. A local muffler shop recommended Competition Trailers in Henderson Texas. I called Competition Trailers and explain to them the situation and asked if there was any way they could weld up the tank that day.
The person on the phone, whose name I did not get, ask me in a very sarcastic tone, "So you want me to stop all production just for you?" A bit taken back by his comment, I politely responded "No sir, that's not at all what I'm asking. I don't know your schedule today and...". He rudely interrupted saying "That's exactly what you're asking!". I apologize and repeated that I was just asking to see if it was possible... Again, he rudely interrupted and said "Just bring it in!"...and he hung up the phone on me.
I understand that some businesses may have more business than they need and can treat customers this way. But I was extremely polite, simply asking about their schedule for the day, and in no way deserve to be treated this way.
Needless to say, I did not take my work to this company. Instead, I drove 40 minutes to Longview Texas to get the work done.
Perhaps this person was just having a bad day. But I've had many businesses in my life. I would have never treated a customer this way. Henderson is a small town. Word gets around. I will never do work with "Competition Trailers".
