Their internet service nearly put me out of business. Always going down, customer service in India where they have no clue what the problem might be, and certainly not when it will be fixed. It has been down for days at a time. Changing their name from SuddenStink to Optimum, their parent company, didn't do much for the service, in fact it resulted is worse service and support. Stay away from this company if reliability is important to you. ZERO or negative stars should be an option.

I wish I could select 0 stars. Pitiful customer service when their internet goes down (every other month). Heres the process when it goes down: internet stops working, call customer support, sit on the phone for 10+ minutes while automated voice explains how to reboot your internet, then repeats 2-3 times, then finally a real person comes on the line and goes through the same process again. After it fails, they will schedule to send someone to fix as long as you can agree to be there on the days they offer (which are limited) and pay $60 if the problem is your fault. When the technician shows up, they either switch out the router, or like they did this last time, told me that there is a problem with the fiber. Then the tech told me that there was nothing he could do and someone else would come fix the fiber. 2 days went by, no word, so I called and went through the whole process again with the automated voice to finally have a real person tell me the problem is with my modem and theyll need to send someone out. Having internet go down is one thing. Having to deal with suddenlink is the absolute worst. Wish there was an alternative but were in an area that doesnt have any options. As soon as that changes, well be done with this terribly incompetent company.

They have ridiculous prices after the promotion ends, charge you for service calls even though the tech never comes, and we've had an unburied cable in our yard (despite multiple calls and promises) for 2 years. What a joke.

My 87-year-old father has been without cable for a month. A month. We were told the whole town (Ingram, TX) is having issues. I was told he will be refunded for the time service has been interrupted. Thanks, but less talk more action!!! Hes almost housebound and one of his limited forms of entertainment is completely unreliable. Unbelievable. SuddenLink doesnt deserve one star.
