Dr. Throne is beyond the best! She was highly recommended to my family by a leading expert in the dental field. The drive for us is nearly two hours-one way and its worth every minute. My 6 year old son needed several complicated procedures done that we only trusted her to do. We interviewed many dentist before selecting her and her office. Aside from being knowledgeable, highly skilled and an expert in her field, shes unbelievably compassionate and kind. My son had a completely positive experience at her office and adores Dr. Throne! That speaks volumes when a 6 year old LOVES his dentist and her staff even after having multiple procedures done. Dr. Throne called to check on my son after every procedure! She truly cares! We couldnt be happier with her and her team!

Dr Throne and her staff are good. I dont live nearby and they are able to get make appointments for us all on a single day to save us many hours of driving. I do wish I had better understood the process, as I was expecting to get Dr Thones evaluation of us the same day she and her staff did the scans and work up. It is a bit of a process to get everything they need to evaluate our airways and sleep. Hopefully they will be able to help us since myself and my 3 children all have airway issues we need help in figuring out.

Dr. Throne completed a full body assessment of my 10 week old son after I was referred to her following my lactation consultant who noticed both tongue and lips ties affecting my breastfeeding. I mentioned other things I was concerned about to Dr. Throne, such as possible birth trauma/injury to his head/neck (very stiff). Dr. Thrones assessment was so comprehensive. She is personal and warm, and so knowledgeable. She put things in terms I could understand and made me feel confident that I knew what was going on with my son. We havent yet moved forward with the procedures he needs but I have peace and feel confident we are in such caring and competent hands with Dr. Throne. She explained everything in depth and even showed me (I felt) the tightness in his mouth thats restricting him. She had additional concerns/noticed things about his body she classified as severe and referred us to a body professional. We are very grateful we found her. Will update once the procedure is completed

My wife and I were referred to Dr. Throne to have our one week old son evaluated to potentially revise a tongue tie in his mouth. When Dr. Throne joined us, she began evaluating our son and proceeded to mercilessly and bluntly critique every inch of our son, pointing out and verbally lamenting every "defect" on his body and stopping the evaluation at several points to marvel at how messed up he is in every way. She then went on to explain that his C-section birth had caused his body to "lock up" and that in order to unlock it, after the tongue tie procedure she would create a fake cervix with her hands for him to be "reborn" through in order to unlock him. Needless to say, as new parents we were shocked and disturbed and considering surgery. We went on to get second and third opinions from other specialists in the field who assured us that our son is a perfect child the way he is and that all of the "defects" Dr. Throne pointed out were normal and would be fixed naturally through non-surgical means. I would not recommend for any new parent to visit Dr. Throne with their newborn: her approach and demeanor is at best abrasive, unprofessional, and careless and at worst actively predatory to new parents concerned for their child's wellbeing who don't know any better than to question her opinions. To add to all of the above, Dr. Throne charges 3x more than other directly comparable providers for the exact same procedure and with less included help post procedure. Again, I would categorize her pricing at best as unfounded heralding of loosely applicable qualifications and at worst as price gouging of new parents who have no way to know any different. I would highly caution anyone considering working with Dr. Throne to get second and third opinions- additionally, it is common for Dr. Throne's patients to have their consultation and surgery in the same day. While that practice may be common through many providers of this type, Dr. Throne's office deserves significant extra caution from parents before rushing into a procedure with her.
