image Downtown location, easy access to I-10, and across Southwest University Park Stadium, those are the positives. Self parking costing $16.63? I think it should be complimentary. Took a while waiting at the empty lobby while one employee was taking a reservation on the phone. The manager was on duty but never came out to help. I requested an upgrade as a platinum member, and honestly, that was a mistake, my room was super small, just enough to move about. Downstairs on the lobby area, there's a bistro/bar area, but it was not manned, so I left for coffee somewhere else. Came back and got a small water bottle, and that cost $4.25. The pool looked gorgeous from my room until I got there and noticed the loose tiles, I don't know if it is under repair or just not finished, but I think it creates a dangerous situation. The water was ice cold, Alaska cold, so again I left disappointed. Overall, for me, it was a one-time deal, and never again, the Hotel Paso Del Norte is the place to be, check it out!

image If you ever need an escape from El Paso but need to stay in El Paso, I highly recommend staying here. Especially during baseball season. Yes they do charge for parking , but compared to what other hotels charge in major cities (Baltimore, Seattle, New York, etc) its pretty cheap. The staff is very warm and welcoming despite being overwhelmed at times with customers who aren't the most understanding. Their views are another reason to stay. You see all the beauty of El paso and Juarez. is a true rarity to experience such an exceptional experience in El Paso.

image Great location and on the surface the hotel looks great.
My first room, the battery died in the door so I couldnt get in. I had to get the front desk to help get me in , and they made it seem like a chore. They said they had to get security, do you want me to do that? If thats the way to get to my room, yes.
I get into my room and there is a stain on the sheets. So when I call down, they said well, house keeping is off, so I can get you new sheets if you want to change them. or I can put you in a down graded room.
The new room looks worn out. Walmart is peeling off the walls, switchs are broken.
If you dont have a choose for a different hotel, this will work. Just be aware what you are getting

image The hotel is really nice, however, theres a particular lady up front that is extremely rude and has an attitude that makes the experience a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, the rest of the staff is kind.
