I recently received a recommendation by EpiCentre to have the Sofwave procedure done to tighten my neck skin. I can confirm 2 things with this procedure. 1.) Sofwave was the most painful procedure I have ever had period. 2.) Sofwave did absolutely nothing to tighten my sagging neck skin. I hope this factual review saves you thousands of dollars.

I have been to Epicentre multiple times since moving to Dallas, and every experience I have had there has been amazing and very helpful. The providers are very professional and knowledgeable. I have gotten multiple services including daxxify, hydrafacials and moxi. Each provider that I have had was great, and recommended products to maintain results from their treatments without any pressure! I cannot recommend Epicentre enough and look forward to my next appointment!

I was really wanting to do Botox, I was set an appointment with one of their nurse injectors Carolyn to discuss treatment. I was happy to understand the process and what Botox is and I couldnt have been happier I did it. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Im happy I chose EpiCentre for my first time.

One of the nurses, Carolyn C, who works at EpiCentre injected 7 vials of filler into my face all in one appointment. She charged me over $5,000 to make my face look huge and round. When I told her how unhappy I was, she said she would charge me $350 per vial of enzyme to remove the filler (it costs them $60 per vial). Carolyn profited from making me look like a deformed person and she again wanted to profit from removing the filler. She is absolutely disgusting. Instead of admitting how horrible she made me look, she actually blamed it on me stating that I had "changed my mind" about the filler. She is a sick individual. When I told her that I didn't think it was my responsibility to pay for the enzyme to remove the filler, she started being extremely rude and nasty to me. She then refused to see me again. Despite how nasty she was, I was always very respectful to her and she knows it. I contacted the office manager, Nina, to discuss what had happened. I explained to her that I met with several plastic surgeons to have the filler removed with the enzyme and they all said that it was Carolyn's responsibility because only she knows exactly where she injected it and how deeply. Nina backed up Carolyn and her decision to not help remove it. This is only because they could no longer scam me for more money. Nina then just started ignoring my emails. They left me on my own to deal with this nightmare. These individuals pretend to be nice but they are fake and low-class individuals.
During the past 4 months, I have had 24 vials of the enzyme used to remove the filler injected into my face. The filler did not come out. It is permanent. One month ago, I had surgery to try to remove the filler. It did not help at all. It has been over 4 months and I have to wear a mask constantly while I'm at work. I have not seen my friends or family in 4 months. I live a completely isolated life now. My face is completely ruined. These individuals never once told me the filler was permanent. Every plastic surgeon that I have spoken to said it is gross malpractice to inject 7 vials of filler into someone's face at one time. Carolyn doesn't have the first clue about what she is doing. I understand missing by 10% but missing by 100% is inexcusable. This lady is a total quack. I have spent over $25,000 on this nightmare. I don't think my face will ever be the same again. Their only concern was silencing me. Nina told me they would return $5,000 if I signed a non-disclosure agreement. They didn't care about how their actions have so badly damaged my life. I saw the positive reviews online and was misled. The truth is that we have no idea how many non-disclosure agreements people have signed so they could at least recover some of their money. Who knows how many lives these people have destroyed.
Do not go to a nurse for injections. They have extremely superficial knowledge. See a plastic surgeon who is very experienced with fillers. Ask them how many times they have injected filler. Plastic surgeons put in years of hard work to truly understand human anatomy. A plastic surgeon is also much more likely to respect medical ethics and less likely to turn their back on you if something goes wrong. Do not let anyone inject more than 2 vials into your face at one time. Do not let them inject Voluma or Volux into your face. It's sad what Carolyn did to me. However, it is completely reprehensible and inexcusable that Carolyn turned her back on me. She lacks any basic values. Some people wake up in the morning, get on their knees, and bow to the almighty dollar. They are sick and pathetic people who are desperate for money. I will be filing a formal complaint against Carolyn with the Texas Nursing Board. I will also be filing a formal complaint against their medical director, Dr. John Burns, with the Texas Medical Board. Dr. Burns knew about this entire ordeal and did nothing to help. We will let the Medical Board and Nursing Board determine whether these individuals violated medical ethics. We already know the answer. Stay away from these sick people.
