one of 2 remaining mansions on Ross Ave. the home is open during Christmas for lunch/tea and the first week of December for tours. it's completely unchanged, meaning only firmer owners made changes. original baths trims etc. it's a lovely home. still needs some TLC, but womens forum was created to help with that. can rent for events as well. weddings, initiate receptions throughout the year tours on mothers day as well.

I highly recommend getting a group together yo tour this only remaining original condition Ross Avenue mansion. The stunning hand carved woodwork, the beveled and stained glass and the original light fixtures are incredible. This was one of the first Dallas mansions to have electricity because they had their own electricity creating building behind the house. It has a basement and three upper floors, the top one was a ballrrom for grand events. Each room had a fireplace since there was no heating and attic fans, ceiling fans and transom windows provided air circulation. The tour guides are incredible actresses as well as historians. It is an experience which everyone will enjoy! My Dallas History Guild friends and I toured it and many have returned for teas.
